ICONIC love the baristas at Upside! They are always so fun and energetic. The food is great for a quick bite while studying! Love the decorations for Halloween!
I've been to this coffee shop/lounge many times and it is super chill with mesmerizing artwork all over. The coffee is really good and I met the young lady this morning while grabbing a coffee who makes the amazing sugar cookies with sprinkles! She deserves a permanent bakery slot for them, not even kidding! Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. Of course I will definitely be back but I mostly wanted to praise her cookies and can't wait to try them again soon!
Absolute best experience! Staff made me feel welcome right away. Cat, Kate and Alivia are the best! Food and coffee were made to perfection. Atmosphere was clean, and comfortable. I will definitely be back soon!
Great cafe including wine, beer, smoothies plus a full bar in Gaslight Clifton. They have a good food menu too, I especially like the bakery items

I love the upside brew, I live so close and have been there a lot! The space inside is great for studying and working, there seems to always be seating, the events are great, and the coffee/food/drinks are great and reasonably priced. The baristas are always speedy and nice, specially Ariel and Cat >>>. Highly recommend!
I love this place! I think it’s the perfect distance from campus and it always has a good vibe! All of the baristas are exceptional, but I wanted to special shout-out Cat for always going above and beyond to make my experience wonderful! She usually happens to be working when I come in, and she is extremely customer oriented. She’s always willing to go above and beyond which I can appreciate as a local barista/cofffee-lover! Thank you Upside to all of your wonderful team members and some of the best coffee in the area
Ariel, Maddie, Cat, Lydia, Kate, Katie, and Beeler might be the best barista staff ever. I have gotten a chance to know every single one of them on my visits here and they never fail to make my day. My mood changes when I’m at the upside, as I always am happy with the food, coffee, and staff. I am here at least 3 times a week. If I could spend my whole day here, I absolutely would. Thank you everyone at Upside for creating such a wonderful space.
I love Upside! I don’t even drink coffee, but I always come around just because I enjoy the environment so much! The staff are amazing and always very welcoming. They have great variety on their menu and knowledgeable baristas that make good suggestions. I love going there to do work and just hang out. It’s a very warm atmosphere with a strong sense of community. You can tell the staff really enjoy working there, and it shows through there service! 10/10 highly recommend if you’re looking for a new cafe spot.
