My fave establishment in Anderson Twp... my fave place in all Cinti! Best pizza & wings and the crowd is family. Robust beer selection never disappoints!
Excellent food with great beer and liquor selections. Fast paced atmosphere with very friendly staff. I highly recommend the capicola sticks and smoked chicken wings.
Good Fellows has been operating in the Anderson Towne Center since 2004. I’m in the area at least one a month and often pass by but had never walked inside until my family and I were in the area at lunch time. It always looked so dark from the outside I assumed it was more of a bar than a restaurant. But it turns out they are open for dinner every day of the week and lunch on the weekends.
Best Pizza in Anderson. Their Pizza is the best in Anderson, and maybe best in Cinci. It is make like the Pizza i grew up with in Northwest OH (Lima). Very fresh toppings, rich-sweet sauce, buried in cheese, and cut in squares (if you get the biggest size). It's the only pizza i can eat in this town, which has lots of great restaurants.
Excellent Food - Customer Service Could Use a Boost. Their food rocks! I've been twice in the past week. Try the capicola sticks as an appetizer, and you can't go wrong with the pizza. We had the all meat one and Grippo's bbq chicken pizza. Wow...just wow!
I do have one small complaint...Last night I was exhausted and just wanted to pick up a pizza and eat it at home in my yoga pants with my shoes off. I tried to phone in a carryout order, and no one answered the phone. In fact, I tried three different times over the course of about a half hour. I was really tempted to go elsewhere because that lack of customer service is a big No-No in my book, but the capicola sticks won out. I had to go in and place a carryout order...when I asked our server if they ever answer the phone, at first she suggested that I had the wrong number, but after telling her I called the number on their Facebook page, she then explained that the "kitchen guys" are in charge of answering the phone, and depending on how busy they are, it may or may not get answered.
Great spot on Beechmont. It is hard to find a lively atmosphere and decent food on Beechmont. This place is family friendly and offers both good food and a fun atmosphere (as well as an extensive beer selection).
Note - it is kind of hidden from Beechmont - located behind the Kroger Marketplace in Anderson.
BEST ITALIAN IN CINCY!. I kind of a food snob and was guessing that this was going to be nothing better than average...I ordered the pizza and a couple appetizers and you can just taste how FRESH the ingredients are. The service was outstanding. The food blew me away. I can't wait to go back!!! I am now obsessed. As a new person to Anderson, I now know where I will be taking my family to eat. ITS AUTHENTIC ITALIAN! And such a fun atmosphere for kids and adults! AND THEY HAVE KARAOKE!!??? My life is complete. Thanks again Good Fellows!
You gotta try this Pizza!!!. By far the best Pizza I have had in Cinncinnati!!! The bar is great with plenty of TVs for any sport you want on. Amazing bartenders and a delightful owner make this place a must visit for those in the Anderson Township area!!
Holy Big-Mouth. The special of the day was the Big Mouth Sandwich.
It is a HUGE sandwich, which is basically their Ribeye Sandwich and their Italian Sub stacked on top of each other on a hoagie bun. It had Ribeye, Capicola ham, pepperoni, regular ham, tons of provolone cheese, onions, mushrooms, green peppers, banana peppers, and sauces on the side (Italian dressing, spicy ranch, & red sauce).
It was probably the biggest sandwich that I have ever eaten in my life, and it was super good. A normal person could eat half of it and be totally full.
I'm planning to go back and order the same thing. The server told me that they have it every day, but it just isn't on their regular menu yet. So you'll need to ask for it.
New. Best. Place. In Anderson. The best pizza in Anderson! Great appetizers try the capicola sticks. Good beer selection and very attentive wait staff. Offer a great variety of flavored tequila.
No!!!! You Don't Have To Be Italian To Enjoy Goodfellows!!!!. I've only been there on Tuesday nights for Karaoke with Tony Rossini, which starts at 9pm. Love their Pizzas, nice airy atmosphere you won't feel crowded there. Servers pay attention to your liquid level. My wife and I plan to visit a Friday night!!!!!
Nestled in Cincinatti it looks on a few town lines, this place is a classic gem. I got the classic cheese pizza 16 in for $16. The pizza is done Omaha style as it resembled that as well as east coast style pizza and have not had flat Chicago style all that often as id just get deep dish if i was getting that. Id say the way it's cut up is Omaha style. This pizza is on the level of the best pizza cities. If there's any pizza better, people pay expensive transportation to go there and eat them and wait a long time so all things considered, it's worth it just to come to a place like this if they're around you. Servers are great in there, you can tell they take pride in their business. Bathrooms on opposite sides however..
There is a big variety of pizzas to choose from. They allow substitutions on the specialty pizzas. There are quite a few beers on tap. Served up icy cold. I would recommend.
We went here for my wife’s Birthday we had such a Great time…Owner is Kyle very very nice man. The food is Fresh and is Amazing… I look forward to going back again.
3-13-22 I tried the pizza this week Fantastic… My Favorite place now…
Came in a few minutes after opening midweek. Waitress was prompt. Started out with garlic bread and deviled eggs, both came within minutes. Bread was excellent, eggs were fine but had a mustard based filling (I prefer mayonnaise.) Next we ordered The Goodfellow and Louie’s Love with no banana peppers (pictured below!) Both were super tasty.
Cool place to watch a game. My calzone was delicious, blt had real bacon and a good amount, my beer never went dry, bartender was super cool. I'd go back every day if I could afford it
Great place to eat, great selection of food, well prepared with great service. However, if you have an eating disorder they do not provide nutritional facts such as calories! :(
Pizza was very good! We got a pepperoni and a good fellow pizza and both were delicious. We had the pepp balls and cheese bread to start and I can recommend the cheese bread. My picky eater kids had the spaghetti and a meatball sub which they both finished and were very happy with. Our server did a great job and was very attentive and friendly, and was quick to help when we had an issue. We will definitely be stopping in for more pizza the next time we're in Cincinnati.
Good Fellows has been operating in the Anderson Towne Center since 2004. I'm in the area at least one a month and often pass by but had never walked inside until my family and I were in the area at lunch time. It always looked so dark from the outside I assumed it was more of a bar than a restaurant. But it turns out they are open for dinner every day of the week and lunch on the weekends.
We were seated near one of the front windows and there was actually a surprising amount of natural light entering the space. I think that the red walls and dark ceiling make it look much darker from the outside than it truly feels inside.
After placing our orders, we found a few games between our table and the entrance to help pass the time. A couple of arcade games were available, but the Foosball table proved to be the most fun!
One of our kids is a pretty picky eater and unfortunately decided he didn't want pizza. We ended up with the Italian cheese stix with the sauce on the side ($5.99). I would have preferred one of other appetizers such as the pepperoni balls or the veggie skins, but these weren't bad.
My wife and I decided to try a couple of the signature pizza offerings but splitting the pizza in half. Louis's love features olive oil, fresh garlic, artichoke hearts, banana peppers, black olives, and goat cheese. While the BBQ Grippo is topped with BBQ sauce, chicken, bacon, onion, cheese, and BBQ Grippos chips. Both were $10.49 for a 10 inch all the way up to $20.99 for 16 inches.
I love BBQ Grippos and that half was an easy decision for us. I thought the Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce complimented the spicier chip topping really well. This is a must try! Louis's love was much different, a more traditional pizza combination and was also good. Good Fellows has a couple of other unique signature pizzas include lemon pepper chicken and chicken fajita. Overall the food was good, service was quick and friendly, and the value was just right.
First time ordering from here and kept it simple. Cheese pizza, spaghetti, and the bbq pulled pork tacos. Everything was really good and still only spent about 35 or 40 bucks. Will definitely order again!
Our server was the BEST! She treated us like we were regulars. Pizza was very tasty and we posted Goodfellows on FB Pizza Connoisseur.
