I had the peanut butter bacon stuffed hamburger and it was awesome. Not what I expected, it was much better. My wife had the chicken salad in a pretzel bun, she said that was the best chicken salad she had ever had.
We drove over an hour to try this restaurant, it was well worth the time. And our waitress Alisa was on point. Couldn't ask for a better waitress, just awesome. Chef Alan came out from the kitchen to see how our dinner was. Top notch eaterie hands down.
Barnesburg is a great place for food, beverages, and fun. Everything is great and the owners and staff are wonderful. You won’t go wrong coming here.
The food and service are excellent. The menu is broad and has something for everyone. The environment is casual, and the employees are helpful and friendly. BTW, The French fries are incredible!!!

Lexi was an awesome bartender. She was on her game for sure. We stopped for dinner before heading over to soccer city for granddaughter's game. Great specials.
Easy to miss this location on Springdale Road but worth trying. It was very quiet when we were there on a Thursday at noon time. The staff was welcoming, environment pleasant, menu extensive. The restroom was decent. They offered a nice variety of typical bar food plus fun options featuring goetta including a goetta Reuben and flatbread goetta pizza. My friend commented that the goetta pizza which is in the picture was a bit too doughy for her taste. I had grilled chicken on Caesar salad. The chicken was very good, the salad was just ok. Prices were a little higher than I would expect for this mediocre lunch but I noticed they offer some enticing specials and an outdoor patio so I think we'll try it again sometime.

We had a large party (10) decided late to go, called, was told to try to get there as soon as we could close to 5:30 time and they would try to accommodate us. They did more than accommodate us we were able to all sit together and received very good service, the food was good beer was cold and the servers were fantastic.
Good place for lunch. Fries were better than average. Parking is a nightmare.

Can accommodate parties of 10, varied menu, attentive wait staff. Parking lot is a bit tight during mealtimes. Our party gathered at 6pm on a Wednesday. We were seated in a back room, which was more quiet.
On my first visit, I chose a bison burger. It was attractively as pictured with French fried onions garnishing the top.The onions were very chewy instead of crispy. The person on my right had a fish sandwich which he said was good. My friend at my left had a wrap sandwich, which she enjoyed.
Barnesburg Tavern does a great job of serving customers a large variety of dinners, which must be challenging for the kitchen! Their French fries are crispy and unforgettable. The chocolate cake dessert is delicious. I would return just to try another dinner.
