Tony's in Clayton, MO is an absolute culinary gem. The moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance. The attention to detail in both the decor and the menu is evident. The cuisine is nothing short of extraordinary, with a diverse selection of dishes that showcase the chef's expertise. From appetizers to desserts, each plate is a masterpiece. The service is impeccable, with staff who are attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Whether it's a special occasion or a casual night out, Tony's provides an unforgettable dining experience that leaves you looking forward to your next visit. It's a true standout in the Clayton culinary scene.

Tony's has been our go to for years now. The first time blew us away and every time since it has always been the best Italian we've ever had (in a city of Italian restaurants too). The shrimp are huge, the entrees are made table side (the pasta seafood is amazing as well as the swordfish). Don't skip dessert! They have the best cheesecake I've ever had. It's whipped. Also you can tour the kitchen! It's the cleanest kitchen I've ever seen. My hubby works in the industry and he says it's definitely the cleanest he has seen in 20 years. Everything looks brand new. Finally, I love how they change out your water for a fresh one at the end. It's a nice touch and I have never seen that elsewhere. Definitely the best restaurant in St Louis. Every anniversary is spent here and we think it's actually decently priced considering the quality. I've seen places that cost just a little less and were miles behind in terms of quality and flavor. Always gives us the best memories. Highly recommended.

Wow! Our meal at Tony’s last night was amazing. Four of us were in town from Portland for a baseball and sightseeing tour of my Dad’s hometown (his first trip back in more than 15 years). Tony’s was the fine-dining establishment of Dad’s childhood, and we decided to try it at its new (to him at least) location in Clayton. It did not disappoint. We were scheduled to eat in the dining room, but after arriving early and heading up to the bar for a drink, we met bartender/server Manny and quickly decided that we would not be moving back downstairs. Manny and his partner’s service, food and wine expertise, and general friendly attitude made it an outstanding night for us. The food was amazing (toasted ravioli, lobster pasta, strip steak, veal trio, chicken piccata - everything was top-notch), wine was outstanding, and we could’t have asked for a better way to start our trip. Thanks again to Manny and the whole crew at Tony’s, that was a dinner we won’t forget!
