You ever been to a place so amazing that you wanted to tell everybody about it but at the same time you don't, because you want it to be your little secret? That's the best way to describe Renee's Place. I can't tell you the last time I've been to a place where the food is unbelievably good, but the vibe matches? I ended up going with the combo (wings, catfish and battered shrimp) because I couldn't make up my mind. Baaabyy let me tell you that was some of the best wings I've ever tasted. The catfish?! *Swoon* And the shrimp?! I think the last time I ate the whole shrimp (tail and all) was when I was a child on accident. I now have an attitude with my sister for not telling me sooner but I can understand. This was the greatest place to enjoy one last meal with our younger sister before she went back to Georgia. Oh and I can't forget about Peaches, our server. When I say the service is on point, I mean they have that "old school" style where they are personable and are johnny on the spot. I wish I could give more stars.
Great job music, ambiance, private area, servce is on point and friendly. Here you can enjoy a cozy cocktail, order take out and look at the reviews for updates. This is a must due greens, fish, scallops scampies tomatoes onions , salad mixture sweet potatoes the best and my favorite chicken mac and cheese corn bread wow! My lips are delighted with ever bite. The band was wonderful. Fresh fruit in my drink. The bathroom is a perfect parlor for a lady scented soothing and relaxing. Thank You for a great vision and congratulations for accomplishing this Downtown Classic A+ Hot Spot Renee"s Restaurant here in Clevieland, Ohio. You are a fabulous out standing example in business. A bit pricey and not to mention that I ordered jerk wings and got plain wings

Whew, where do I begin! First off, the owner grabbed my hand once seeing I was impaired and walked me to our table. She was so personable and welcoming. The customer service from all the staff is second to none! I was in disbelief that this level of customer attention still existed. The decor was beautiful, specially the all white outdoor seating. Now, the food! My goodness, everything came out pipping hot! You could see the steam coming off of everything. The chicken, pork chops and catfish were seasoned and fried to perfection. WHOLE wings! The greens, and Mac and cheese were sooo good. But baby, that cornbread dressing and yams made me dance with the first bite, literally, we stood up and danced. The portions were very good also. We left there feeling like family! We will be back, again and again!
Great owner Renee likes to great each guest herself. Staff is friendly and always happy to see guests.
Our air bnb was right next to this place so we decided to check it out after the browns game. Such a friendly environment, great drinks, and literally the best wings I’ve ever had in my life. Some random gentlemen bought us drinks too after telling them we were out of town. If I ever coke back to Cleveland, I will be coming here again.
This place is in a very safe area of Cleveland close to my airbnb. I went there because of the reviews, but a suburban white boy from chicago got a few glances. but owners are supper cool and everyone in the bar was nice. more importantly, if you like comfort food when traveling the mac and cheese and wings are the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend
Visited this place last night. The DJ was absolutely amazing blending the music. I usually don't dance but I had to get out my seat. He was jamming. The food was seasoned to perfection, the drinks & the design were great. The service was phenomenal. Everything came quick. We didn't have to wait for drinks they were on it. The vibe all around was just nice. We had a blast definitely will be back.
Went here with a friend and I am glad I did. The food is cooked to perfection and not overly seasoned. They have bands on Friday and they were great. The bar personnel are attentive and friendly. If you have not been there you owe it to yourself to go. You definitely will not regret it.
You will leave with a FULL BELLY. The chicken tender and fries where great. I forgot my purse and a young man walked it out for me. This place is genuine, a good vibe , and the soul music is fire . I would definitely recommend to come back again and again . ❤️💜
