This is a feel good place with great food and a great staff. Everything I’ve ordered has been delicious. Loved sitting on the patio when there was entertainment outside - but also enjoyed the indoor atmosphere when I’ve eaten inside. Friendly and attentive wait staff. Obviously, great cooks. This is a place that I will definitely take out of town guests to share the good feeling I have when going to Gunsight. Can’t say enough good things about this great place in Columbia Falls.
Great outdoor area to enjoy dinner and music. Nice place to meet family and friends for great food and drinks.
We had a great family dinner here tonight. Food was good overall, nothing bad, wasn't like over the top but was good. The atmosphere was great! Good selection of adult beverages at the bar and the atmosphere was awesome, especially the live quiz show they had going on. Would definitely go again with the wife and kids.
In A Nutshell:
-Gunsight Saloon is a cool & fitting name.
-I really enjoyed the indoor/outdoor areas, which are both large enough to handle a lot of people.
-They had live music outdoors, which was lovely especially on a nice, warm evening.
-After doing a 17 mile hike at Glacier my appetite was huge, so I ended up ordering their buttermilk fried chicken sandwich & BBQ platter (brisket, etc..)
-Both meals were finger licking good, I highly recommend order each one.
-They also sell some soft fitting t-shirts, which are good for souvenirs.
Overall, if you are in Columbia Falls I'd swing by this unique restaurant.
Incredible Restaurant, love the decor and whole vibe of the place. Great outdoor seating with live music. Good food and made fresh to order and very timely. Would be my go to place If I lived in the area.
Fantastic food! Got take out after a long day hiking to eat pool side. It was marvelous. Good portion size. Red beans and rice dish was great and the boys loved the mac and chz. It was so good we went back the next day for takeout again, but tried the shrimp and grits and jambalaya which were amazing! Honestly some of the best grits I’ve ever had. The boys stuck with the mac&chz and weren’t disappointed. Pics of half eaten food as it was so tasty looking I forgot to snap pics before we dug in!
Good food, lots of seating and great music. Food is a bit expensive and I would like if portions were larger, but overall everything is consistently good.
Good food and good music. The staff was really friendly. I had the Mac and cheese with a salad. A little too much bacon, but it was good. The portions are large. Two people could easily split that dish. I would definitely eat there again.
Within the few options for dinning near Glacier National Park West Entrance, this is one of the best ones. Patio has a good vibe and indoors is nice saloon kind.
Very laid back atmosphere. You're in Montana. Enjoy the slower paced life and live music 6 days a week! Grateful for the variety on the menu. Really good fries, wedge salad, steak salad, and Mac and cheese. Yummy cocktails and even have several different types of old fashioned on tap. Had the red velvet cupcakes and as a baker myself, it was delicious!
