Las Flores is the best hidden (not so much lol) gem in this area! The food is phenomenal and very authentic, and the house margarita is TO DIE FOR! We always enjoy our experience when we go!
My husband and I were there yesterday and it was AMAZING!! The fried guacamole was to die for and our tacos were so delicious! Our server, Brenda, was outstanding, very knowledgeable and attentive. We will be back for sure! Hands down best Mexican food in Conyers and Covington!!
I did not know what to expect, but I will tell you I got WAY more than I ever could’ve imagined. This place is ADORABLE. I went with my daughter this past Monday evening for dinner, and we had the loveliest time! Our server was extremely friendly, and the food was AMAZING. I thought we were just in for a regular little Mexican food place, but Las Flores is more authentic Mexican cuisine and less what you generally get at metro Atlanta Mexican restaurants. The salsa is chunky (like what we generally call pico), and if you ask for the spicy sauce it’s actually spicy (and delicious)!!! I ordered the street tacos, and they were perfect. This is a new local favorite and I’m so happy we stumbled upon it!!!
The food was good! We had fried guacamole for the appetizer, entrees was the chicken chimichanga with rice and a chicken burrito. Drinks were glasses wine and a tequila Manhattan and we did a flight of tequila as well (I forget the name of it). Over all i was very impressed, service was amazing I think our bartender's name was Christina. We took seats at the bar and for Christian to be by herself she did a very good job. When I go back I will most definitely be sitting at the bar. I have never had a chimichanga that I can pick up and OMG it was one of the best. The only thing I didn't like was the yellow cheese but it's totally not a deal breaker. Fried guacamole was very outside the box for me but it was mouth watering. Nice quiet place to relax after work for a drink or a place for a quick meal with friends.

Wife and I loved it. Her chimichanga was actually crispy and not smothered to mush. Nice coating of cheese on top.
I ordered three of their tacos, the grilled shrimp, the breakfast chorizo and the steak. All three where very good, the shrimp was a little too wet but the steak was perfect. Only downside was there small cup of what I thought wad some salsa but turned out to be a marinara sauce.
The chips where fresh made and lightly coated in chille, paprika, and pepper while the salsa was more of a pico which was amazing and very fresh tasting.
The food was absolutely fabulous all waiters and waitresses wore masks and they social distance people as best possible.
Found this place through a Google search. I am so disappointed I am just now finding out about it. The food is so good and seems pretty authentic. I ordered the chicken chimichanga ...the queso sauce was so good and the tortilla was fried to perfection. (Not too crispy, not too soft) I also ordered chips and dip. The chips don’t look like typical “nacho” chips but they were so good as well as the queso dip. Will definitely order from here more often.
