An incredibly cute location with an incredibly sweet staff and incredibly scrumptious food. Full disclosure, I'm not a Thai food expert. I don't think I can even say that I've had Thai food multiple times because I've always ordered the same thing ..Green Curry. I ordered the Duck Curry here because...I chose it randomly. It was sweet and spicy and very good. I can't wait to try more things on the menu, I saw several seafood options that caught my eye. I was happy that when I came inside there was a sign instructing me to go inside the second door. I'm not the smartest sometimes so I appreciated this because there was the potential of me waiting in the foyer for a good minute if it wasn't written out for me. I felt very warmly welcomed and everyone was extremely kind and I believe that's why I loved this place so much.
One of my favorite places to eat lunch in Corpus Christi, absolutely love it! They have the best peanut dressing, I get the jar to take home and put it on everything!. Light and tasty!

The food and service at The Thai Cottage is excellent. The menu has a wide variety of items and everything we've tried has been great! You can't go wrong stopping into this magnificent restaurant.
OK so here's the thing. The food is not bad but I definitely feel that I chose the wrong dish. I ordered the pineapple fried rice and unfortunately it was incredibly dry. My friend ordered one of the curry dishes and it was phenomenal, full of flavor. So if you order a dish, I would be wary of the pineapple fried rice. I still ate it but wasn't as satisfied. Service is fast, attentive and courteous. Good place to bring a date. Crispy vegetable rolls were also pretty yum. Definitely go with someone whose tried the dishes before as a guide, will help determine the right plate for your taste.
These is my first time trying Thai food I really had a good time in the cossy cottage. The staff were very kind and friendly.
Appetizer: Wings of paradise are delicious, sweet and super crunchy. Thai Dim Sum was tender and soft. The curry came with a Vegetable crispy roll my favorite so far.
Lunch:We tried the red and green chicken curry it were very good.
Last but not least…. Dessert: Fried banana with ice cream was a sweet surprise.😍
We used to go here all the time , I am glad to have rediscovered it. The food is wonderful. I had a salad with the peanut dressing ( I could take a container of this home) , and I had the garlic and mushroom shrimp , it is very good. We split a very unique dessert , sticky rice that was hot and sweet with a custard on top. It really was different and good. The server was very attentive.
ordered chef rad na and thai iced tea. the tea comes in a bottle. the vegetables in the dish are nicely cooked - a bit al dente 👍. will come again to try different noodle dish 🍜 .
I enjoyed my yellow curry, crispy rolls, and mango rice however the pad see ew was not great I couldn't finish it, unfortunately. The flavor was soy sauce heavy. I will chuck it up to it being off batch. Sadest for me was the fresh roll. I will say i appreciate the portion size however it was so large in diameter that it took a few bites to get across. This usually resulted in a mouth full of noodles since there were so many inside. If they were in a set of 4 and the size of each roll was reduced the experience would have been better. With all that being said I will say that the staff to customer experience was far beyond my highest expectations. And typically Thai food places have very good customer service and personable waiting service. I ate here for lunch and had such a good experience I came for dinner. I was traveling and I was in the mood for Thai
I ate here with my mom, dad, and little brother. I ordered the pad thai and I actually loved itt! My mom got the green curry and she loved it too. My dad eats here a lot and he always orders the same thing: yellow curry. So clearly he loves the yellow curry! And finally my little brother got the combo fried rice and he said it was the best fried rice he's ever eaten!! My mom and I also really appreciate the service here bc they were accommodating when we were ordering our food. The waiter was nice and really made sure our experience was good :)
Thai Cottage has delicious food! We enjoyed the veggie appetizers and tofu entrees: veggie dumplings, green plate, Chile ginger tofu. The staff were all very friendly. The restaurant has a cozy little atmosphere too. We will be back!
