We had a great experience. Everyone was so great and attentive to us. They had great suggestions and everything tasted great. We came in towards the end of their day and they were out of a few items but that was ok. The flour tortillas were the best. The staff was amazing and the food was great, highly recommend
I've heard of this place and finally got a chance to go and man I've been missing out. It was supper packed when we arrived and surprisingly the service was good. Homemade Texmex food is always a plus and this place hit the spot. The Carne guisada was on point and so were the enchiladas. The walls were covered in some great pictures of some great locals. Don't miss out on this spot!
The food was amazing! This was one of Selena Quintanilla’s favorite restaurants so if you’re a Selena fan, definitely visit. The wait time for the food is usually 30-40 minutes but it’s so worth it. The place is always packed be sure to get there early

Great experience 1st time visiting this iconic restaurant and it was all that I've heard of and more. I had the lengua plate which came with rice, beans, and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were a pleasant surprise. The potatoes tasted just like mom used to make. The lengua was seasoned to perfection and the slices were huge. I believe it was 6 total slices. If you're looking for some. Selena memorabilia you'll find lots here.
Food is great..to-go service SUCKS!
Waited 40 minutes for my food, which itself wasn't even the problem... Good food takes awhile to make. But then my order comes out, togo person opens it, takes it back to the kitchen and nukes it to death IN THE STYROFOAM.... Apparently to "melt the cheese" ... No one could seem to understand that I didn't want Styrofoam-leeched food and thought I was complaining about the wait time, I understand they are short handed, but that doesn't have anything to do with KILLING the plate in a microwave.
In the course of doing this they got the grease in the rice and beans so hot that it burned holes thru the bottom of the platter.
Come on Hi-Ho.. You can do better than microwaved Styrofoam infused food.
I'll just sit inside and eat alone next time.
Such an amazing place to get the full Selena experience.
They were so packed that it took about 45 minutes to get drinks and food.
The owner was very kind and we enjoyed our conversation with him.
Also, I haven't seen food that cheap anywhere. Amazing prices!
The tortillas were amazing. Very homie food, I got 2 breakfast tacos. It took more than 30 minutes to give us our food, but we came in deep. A Selena experience for sure that's what really did it for me. I love Selena
Food was delicious! Everything we tried was so good and the tortillas are made fresh and so delicious. The barbacoa was fried and not very greasy like most other places. Definitely worth the long wait (it was packed). We also like the carne guisada plate… delicious!

Food was awesome accomadted at 24 of us... called ahead of time to make sure they can.. they loved having here....will definitely be coming back.
