Real Diner - fast wait staff, old fashioned booths and and excellent food. My daughter had silver dollar pancakes, grits were wonderful and the migas casserole was original. Not the health food options of a more modern breakfast spot other than a fruit cup but my kids and I ate everything we could and still had piles of leftovers to take to the beach.
Town & Country Cafe. Having wanted to dine at Town & Country for a while, we finally were able to experience breakfast here. If you want something close to a home-cooked breakfast, Town & Country should be on your list.
The service and food were great. We ordered omelets ( vegetable and bacon mushroom) which were light and fluffy. The pancakes and waffles were very good, as well. Regular breakfast items such as grits, bacon, toast, etc, are also on the menu.
Dining here was a very good way to start the day. Give Town & Country a try sometime soon.
The "Town & Country" Breakfast. We have breakfast at T & C frequently and always try to be seated where Sherry, our favorite waitress is the server. I order the Town & Country off of the Breakfast Menu....two eggs, (over easy on top of the hash browns); tomatoes; bacon; toast and coffee.....just like Mom used to make. Delicious! I'd highly recommend T & C.....they are quite busy on the weekend mornings.
Time Machine. I love how this place makes you feel as though you have walked into a time decades ago. I love the smells of the kitchen and people sipping coffee and chatting.
The food was good too. The breakfast menu is full of choices and everything I had (and had off other people's plates!) was delicious.
I do agree that the service could use a little tweeking. While our server was not rude, she was missing for longer amounts of time - but I did try to understand it was breakfast rush on a Saturday morning.
All in all, I think this place is worth it for the atmosphere alone, but the food adds to the nostolgia.
Cheap Eats!. Great diner food for the very little money. Don't mess with the staff, they are old school and will not take any crap. I love this place!
Just Right. Tried the breakfast fare today. Service was very prompt, and the coffee cup was never more than half empty. Ordered the bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy. My wife had the blueberry pancakes. The food was great and the prices were very reasonable. We will return as the place reminded my wife of her grandmothers diner.
Good homestyle cooking. The soups were very hearty and the oatmeal was finished completely by the kids. Good prices and good service.
Good diner, you should try it. It's your typical Art Deco diner that specializes in making good diner food. I had the chicken fried chicken, comes with a small salad, and I picked the fried Okra and mash potatoes from their array of sides. I topped it off with a slice of Key Lime Pie and I walked away stuffed like a Thanksgiving Turkey and hardly a dent in my pocket book. Service was really good too. Tip well, these people work hard to make you happy.

Went back after 5 years and it was nice to see its still a good place to get a good breakfast!! I will return again. The breakfasts are very good as well as the huevos rancheros!!
Delicious breakfast and lunch options! I have yet to order something I didn’t like. I highly recommend sitting at or by the bar so you can watch as the cooks put out the plates.
Great place for a classic breakfast but has a few Mexican options too. Thick cut bacon was a nice surprise too.

This place is great!! The food is wonderful and so is the service. It was about 15 minute wait on a Sunday morning, but we'll worth the wait. I had a vegetable soup with a turkey avo sandwich. My husband had breakfast with pancakes. I would eat here often if I lived in Corpus. Very reasonably priced.
Excellent place for breakfast, blueberry pancakes were delicious. The bacon made to order, crispy! Eggs, most excellent.
The Western omelette was stuffed to perfection.

It was our first time here and we will definitely be back. Great customer service!!! Hubby had the T&C pancake breakfast and he enjoyed it. The pancakes were amazing. My favorite item was the biscuits were the best I have ever had in my life!!!! I had the T&C breakfast and I will definitely get it again. Everything from both plates had great flavor, and we're cooked to order. Hot, fresh, and delicious. This is a place is a must if you are in town. Try the biscuits and gravy is a must try.
Breakfast is great!!!! Tried there lunch specials. Sandwiches are great! Family tried several different kinds.

we were hoping to find a good place to eat a great breakfast to start off the day. And we were not disappointed at all. Our daughter not a fan of breakfast and she was able to eat her a delicious chicken fried chicken with fries. We were all very satisfied.

Breakfast was great. We ordered the Town and Country (which was very good with a fresh biscuit) and a sausage and egg taquito (which was fantastic and something I would definitely order again)! Service with Madeline was excellent! Thanks!
