If you like italian food this is your place. My wife and I have been coming to this place for years and we have never ever had either bad service or bad food. if you live in Corpus Christi and have never been here you have got to try this place. if you are from out of town you really got to try this place. It will be another reason to come back to Corpus Christi.
Really good food! Great people too!. As a visitor to Corpus, it was nice to find a little local place to eat. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and the staff was really attentive and gracious. I had the chicken parmasian and it was good, as was the bread and salad I got. The death by chocolate was also tasty. Will defineately visit again when I'm in town.
GREAT!. I went to Franks with a very large group, over 20. Service was great, even though it was our first time there they made us feel like we were regulars. The only thing better than the service was the food. I had Pizza and my wife had chicken parm, both were great
Great Lunch. Had lunch at Frank's on Friday the 26th of April. Excellent food and service great atmosphere and will recommend completely. Had the Chicken Parmesan and my wife had the Egg Plant Parmesan and both were excellent.
We ate here for our anniversary and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was excellent .I the combo plate and my wife had the ravioli and both were very good. We also bought a bottle of there house dressing which we thought was very good.
Yummy!!. Delicious and quaint, this place made me feel like I was in a real Italian house! =) Will definitely visit again!!

This is my new favorite restaurant!! I had the Chicken San Marino, which is LITERALLY the best thing I've ever eaten in my life. The tomato soup was delicious and made in house. The staff is really nice and helpful. I seriously can't rave enough about this place!!
Love this little place!. I have visited Franks several times for both lunch and dinner. Service was quick, the food is always delicious, and during the summer the kids help out which is charming. There is nothing like dining in an old house with a traditional red and white checkered table cloth, eating fantastic manicotti and listening to the "Godfather" them playing on the speakers overhead.
You don't know comfort food until u try this place. The best tomato soup and the lasagna don't get me started! It melts in your mouth along side with the garlic bread. The staff is fantastic!
This place has always been a favorite of mine - excellent pizza!! At lunch they don't serve pizza but they have amazing pizza bread which is just garlic bread topped w/ cheese & toppings. Yum!!
There is a reason this place has been around for years, in spite of its location. The food is great. I love Fettuccine Alfredo ( plain , no meat), and they know how to do it well. The pasta cooked perfectly , and the sauce is just right , some places add too much butter or cream, making a runny sauce , not Frank's. The soup today was Minestrone it was good , but I was looking forward to the tomato basil , told it was only a Monday special now. The garlic bread was a little burnt but still tasted ok. Had a piece of plain cheesecake that is made in-house , it was delicious . Even Cheesecake factory can't compare it is a much smaller piece , but it is so worth it.
We stopped in for lunch today, it's been way too long since we've been here. I got the spaghetti with marinara sauce and a meat ball, minestrone soup and finished off with a piece of their homemade cheese cake. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the meatball was a good size and I only needed one. The garlic bread was crisp and buttery and the cheese cake was absolutely delicious. We love the old world decor and the staff was attentive and pleasant.
It's a rare thing for me to be able to give 5 stars across the board but this one definitely deserves it. I came in at around 5 in the afternoon and was seated promptly. I was super surprised at the great prices on the menu. I opted for the old classic spaghetti and meatballs. The moment of truth came when I tasted my food. It was perfect just the way I liked it. My food was perfect in portions and servng size. The homemade minestrone soup was a great starter. I'm not even a huge fan of minestrone soup and this one won my taste buds over. I had 2 beers with my meal and enjoyed the bread. The atmosphere reminds me of a much higher scale type of Italian restaurant like you'd find in Chicago or LA. If you read my reviews you'll see that I've enjoyed Italian food across the country and I'll definitely say that this little place is a real gem. I plan on returning again and my highest recommendations go out to this place.
Food was delicious!!! We had the Fried mushrooms appetizer and the fresh garlic bread, YUM! We had the ravioli and the manicott..so good! , The atmosphere is so inviting and the music plays in the background, such a cute place. Construction is crazy around there but don’t let that veer you off, it’s worth it.
Had lunch here with a friend. Had spaghetti and meatballs. While the sauce and noodles were great, the meatballs had no seasoning at all. Just 2 balls of ground beef. So idk if someone forgot to season them that day or what. Not mad about it, just thought I'd mention it. Their garlic bread and minestrone soup were tasty. Restaurant itself is warm and inviting. Waitstaff is friendly and the place is clean. Difficult to get to because of all the construction but still worth it.
1st time here and the food was good, service was quick, and I enjoyed the coziness of the restaurant. The table clothes made of red and white checker board table cloth took me back to the day at My grandfather's where my Aunt would make meals from back in Sicilia. If your in the area or looking fir a good place to spend with friends or family this is the place to go.
Cozy atmosphere. Great service. LARGE portions. Great prices. We will come again when in CC.
I'm giving franks a 4 star review because I think it was just like an off night for them. The sever didn't want to be there that was obvious. He didn't mention until we asked if we could get lemonade or soda instead of tea because it was unsweetened and they didn't have sweet tea until almost everyone was done eating. He wasn't rude but he was like uh yeah all we have is unsweet tea. Overall the food was good the place was nice. I'll definitely go back hopefully on a better night for them.
What a hidden gem. Sinatra softly playing in the background. Great food and service. You can taste the homemade goodness. Better than any town in Italy that I was dinning in last year. Entrees under $10, that's amazing.
Very cool place! Interesting building, inside and out. Travel back in time and enjoy the ambiance; red checkered tablecloths; an old house with lots of wood beams and exposed brick; Sinatra swaying from a small speaker hidden somewhere among the old photos, doorknob light fixtures, and large plates of spaghetti and meatballs. Fresh pasta with a simple, sweet marinara sauce; or is it “gravy”? Might be BYOB - not sure - might be a bottle of red in the kitchen. Worth the trip for a unique and satisfying night out and filling Italian meal.
