I think this is probably the best food I’ve had in corpus. I leave the state often and eat in other major cities, always looking for something that stands out. Unfortunately I never really find those flavors in corpus, until NOW. The food was a beautiful experience, the cumin margarita was really a staple for me and it was recommended to us by the sweet and helpful Meg. Thank you to the kitchen and the front of house staff. My anniversary was perfect because of this dining experience.

The food is delicious, the staff are extremely helpful, and the atmosphere is perfect. Giant menu. Spice scale that will accommodate everybody from your southern grandmother to those with the most adventurous palates. Prices are very reasonable as well. I couldn’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for some authentic Indian food.

Finally had the chance to try this place and I was not disappointed... this place is amazing! The service was wonderful and the food was outstanding! For the appetizer, we ordered the samosa. The outside was so flaky, and the filling has such a great taste. The accompanying tamarind and mint sauces enhanced the flavors even more. I ordered the butter lamb masala, and the lamb was melt in your mouth tender. The sauce was so creamy and flavorful. My partner ordered the mango chicken, and that sauce was to die for! We had the side of rice, garlic naan and cheesy naan.... soooooo good! For dessert, we tried rasmalai for the first time, and it was also very creamy but not too sweet taste. Then, I finished with gulab jamun that was fresh and warm with such a light honey sauce. The servings were just the right size, and the flavors were divinely delicious. I cannot rave about this place enough. If you have not been here and you want outstanding Indian food... this is the place to go!

We dined in as a date night. We were greeted by a welcoming crew and seated at a nice table (booths are also available). We ordered the samosas and baby corn for appetizer and for our entree we had butter chicken, mango chicken, rice and two flavors of naan. See photos of meal-amazing and plentiful. The food was so tasteful and amazing. It was a delicious meal with great ambiance. A full service bar is also available. Highly recommend!

We've been seeing this place driving by and stopped in today and so glad we did. The food and service was great. Everything was clean and the people working there were friendly. Can't wait to come back and try something else. You can't go wrong going to Persis Indian Grill !

We went for lunch today, I ordered the Andhra Chicken with some complementary rice and a side of Laccha Paratha “bread”. You can order the chicken, mild, medium or spicy, I ordered it medium, thank goodness. The medium had a nice heat to it, and it was very tasty, I fear the hot would’ve not been so enjoyable. The dish itself is relatively small so unless you are ordering other sides, make sure to get the complementary rice or some bread or both or you might go hungry. On the menu there are several types of bread to order, I ordered the Laccha Paratha, this flatbread was flaky and delicious, and was a nice complement to my meal. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, and on one side of the restaurant they even have a bar. I love the mural with the Indian bride on the wall. When we were there, there were only about five tables seated and we counted about four servers, however, with that number of servers, we could not hardly get our waters filled, and it was rare that anybody came by and checked on us. Although I give the food and the atmosphere high marks, the service today was just downright poor.

We had a great experience for our party of 10 which included kids. It’s nice to have more restaurant options in Corpus. We ordered a lot of appetizers, and they were all wonderful: Samosa Mix veg pakoda Crispy spring roll Chicken lollipop Some of the entrees we ordered were: Tandoori chicken (my picky teenager ate it all!) Chicken tikka masala Kadai goat Tadka daal biryani chicken You must order the butter and garlic naan! My teenage sons ordered mango kulfi for dessert. Everyone loved the food and half of us had leftovers to take home. The unsweet ice tea was one of the best I’ve ever had. The service and atmosphere was great. We paid cash to avoid the 3% credit card fee. We will definitely come back again!

There were no Indian restaurants in the area and so we had to go here. The food is good and tasty, however the portions are really small for what we pay for. They gave us mint chutney for the chicken kebab in a small cup, so I have asked for an extra mint chutney, and when I have asked for it they said I need to pay extra(although it is only $0.99 cents). The staff is good but the pricing for the that food is a little expensive. Carrot halwa was $5.99 but the portion was again so small. I am confused if I want to go here again because the food is definitely good although it’s a little pricey.

We are very excited that Corpus finally has another Indian restaurant. The atmosphere and food were absolutely amazing, and we definitely plan on going back. The Samosas were phenomenal. My husband got the Chicken Do Pyaza. It was very very good. I got the Shrimp Biryana, which was also very good. But I think I liked his just a bit better. The garlic Naan was delicious and very fresh. The only complaints are about how long we waited. A couple came in at least 10-15 minutes after us, were served, and gone before us. We honestly believe that our waitress was just very new and didn't get our order in at first. She was very young and probably not experienced. Update: We finally made it back to try again. The food was absolutely amazing, and we had a much better service experience. We had the same waitress, and she seemed a lot more experienced just months later. The entire restaurant experience has definitely improved. We got the Butter Chicken Masala and the Andhra Lamb Curry, both spicy. The chicken had a bit of sweetness to it. They were both amazing!

Absolutely no wait. Seated fast and served quickly. Ordered the fish appetizer to start with. Followed it with Palak Lamb, Jeeri rice, and Chefs special chicken. An order of Cheese Naan and Garlic Naan to round out the meal. All the dishes were flavorful and tasty. I was hoping the Palak Spinach Lamb had Paneer but was sorely disappointed that the lamb dish was not served as pictured on the menu. The cheese naan was delicious as was the garlic.
