We went for breakfast. I got the eggs with chicharrones with a side of Ranchero sauce. The food was delicious, the refried beans were very good and the corn tortillas were warm and soft. The servers were very attentive and the food came out within about 10 min. I look forward to going back and trying their lunch.
Went to this place an hour before it closed at night but they were not rushing us at all or making us feel uncomfortable. They took great care of our group. The food was delicious and served quickly, the customer service was super super good, all the staff was kind, smiling, with a great attitude! We mostly ordered fajitas but our kids got the whole fried fish and the carne guisada (they loved it!). Also they are strategically located outside of the Mustang island beaches, so next time we go to Corpus Christi will definitely stop here!
Had business on the island early , so I thought I would try this place for breakfast as they had good reviews. Boy, were they right. The Machado was some of the best I have had , they even left off the tomatoes as I requested. The beans were very good . I think the potatoes might have been a little more crisp , but they did taste fine. The server was very nice and checked on us often ( after she brought our food!!) The prices were very reasonable and I can't wait to go back. The inside was nothing special , but it was clean, and when they did clean a table, it was not with a strong smelling cleaner that makes you lose your appetite!! I will go back to try lunch or dinner for sure.

Authentic, super delicious everything. Our group had fish tacos, shrimp on the grill (fajitas), tripas,, and fish soup. The fish tacos were a bit spicy for my husband, making him sweat. The sauce was a heavy, but had a creamy ancho flavor. The tripas were crispy with a little chewiness. The tacos and tripas dishes came with beans and rice with veggies. The tripas also came with avocado and Pico de Gallo. The soup had fish, shrimp and carrots. Warning that it's spicy and came with Chipotle peppers. My favorite part of our meal was the homemade corn tortillas we ordered. Reminded me of my mom's. The shrimp meal had lots of green peppers but it was not spicy. The salsa that came with the chips definitely had some kick. We ordered queso for those needing less heat. The place was minus a busboy and 4 tables needed to be cleared. The owner and/or cook was on it as soon as he was able.
I would love to eat here every day this week while we are here. If you're nervous about spicy food, ask the wait staff for recommendations or options.
I ordered some Mexican tacos, and they were delicious. The prices are decent and the employees are nice. A+
Breakfast was good! Got some tacos, which are pretty large on hand made tortillas. Good size pancake at great value. The machacado was pretty good! Homemade hot sauces are delicious.
Had the delicious seafood enchiladas! The fish was fresh, and the veggies roasted and perfectly seasoned. The establishment is super clean with an affordable menu selection, and the staff is very friendly. I will definitely be back for more.
Very tasty. The beans are really dam good. I had the California burrito. Don't understand why they called it that, the rice was tender and nice. The food food a bit but we got it and it was worth the wait and it was convenient that this place was right down the street. When I visit corpus next year I will come back
While in Corpus this past weekend, we stopped in and decided to give this restaurant a try! They did not disappoint!!! We were starving and other restaurants had 1-1.5 hour waits (most restaurants along the beach). We were seated immediately after walking in. 10 mins later after putting in our order, the food arrived! The service was great, wait staff was very friendly. While dining, the manager greeted us and asked how everything was. I'm definitely coming back when I'm in town! Everything was delicious.
This place has great food with large portions for very reasonable prices. We had 8 people, all with different menu items and all were fantastic. The molcajete is incredible. Def recommended for Padre Island, or anywhere for that matter. Best Mexican meal I've had in years.
