I've been eating here for 40+ years. Panjos has never failed at having the best pizza in town. Sandwiches also! It's hard to decide between a burger and the pizza! Delicious!!
We love this place great pizza. We live in Austin Texas. We brought our three grandkids to corpus for the weekend. These three are the pickiest eaters ever. We ordered them all their own personal pizza. There wasn't a slice left they loved it. The crust was a little different but great even better to me. We will be back for sure!!
Got a pickle pizza . Now that may sound strange , but if you like pickles and garlic , you must try it at least once. The crust was a little burned in places , so that was not good. I would not go back anytime soon , but I love garlic and pickles , so I would eat this again, but I would remind them to be watchful and not burn the crust.
I haven't had Panjo's in years. We ordered pizza and wings to go and were happy with both. Crispy crust, good sauce and plenty of toppings. The wings were tasty, but not too spicy.
So I came here today along with my family and had the large double pepperoni pizza and let me tell you it was one of the best pizzas I ever had the crust was very crispy and crunchy the amount of cheese and sauce added is perfect it's just everything right with a pizza! I've came along many other times as well and the quality of the food is ALWAYS consistent which is also a plus! To conclude, this is one of my favorite pizza joints ever the service is friendly it will take some time to get your order but honestly the longer the wait the better the order even the atmosphere is nice and very welcoming for sports fans or just anybody in general and I hope everyone working here keeps up the amazing work with the amazing food! (^^)
I’ve never eaten here before tonight so I took a chance and I’m glad I did. This place is so cool! The atmosphere is awesome, like old-school pizza place vibes. The food was delicious. I got a small thin crust cheese pizza and I don’t think I’ve ever eaten a crispier crust. It’s like New Jersey bar pizza crispy. The staff were very polite and professional. I’m not a local but if I were this would be my new go-to pizza place. Skip the chains and go to Panjo’s!
1 of our favorite pizza/sandwich/burger joint.. the wings are not too bad but the flavor of them are unique. I just prefer my wings cooked a lil extra. We had to eat here before chuckE cheese.. haha. Plenty to do here in Corpus and Portland before school starts. Give Panjo's try... the service is always friendly and welcoming.

I read the menu online and the "Chicago - style stuffed pizza with thick crust" was all I could think about. Having experienced this in Chicago at places like Gino's and Uno's, my expectations were high. Panjo's came through with flying colors.
We got the Maui Jo's Hawaiian and OMG they made it great. They started our visit off right with the friendliest staff who really pay attention to the customers. Even though this is counter service, the guy listened to our questions and fully engaged in answering them, not just providing lip service you might get at a chain store. He explained that it takes about 45 minutes to cook, because it has "pounds" more ingredients than the thin crust equivalents.
While waiting, we pondered this explanation, and came to an agreement that it probably does weigh "pounds more.". It did take about 45 minutes, and it was so stuffed and heavy it definitely weighs "pounds more." It was very reminiscent of stuffed Chicago Style pizza, and very delicious. Panjo's was recommended to me by a local, and now I too am a fan! If you're contemplating whether to get a Large or a Giant, the large is probably enough, but the Giant is only about $3 more so it seems like the better deal.
Omfg. This is the best pizza on the planet. I used to eat at the one in Houston 37 years ago and found this one on accident and it's the exact same as I remember. So good!
Panjos is one of those excellent small restaurants that locals know about. Excellent salads with fresh vegetables and delicious pizzas. The ingredients are all top quality and the cheeses are delicious! Love this place. I know people who live two hours away who drive in to ear here.
Grew up in Corpus in the 70's and haven't been back since then until recently. I went to Panjos after little league baseball games and have many fond memories there. You can imagine my delight to go back and it lived up to all my expectations! Thanks for not changing a thing I'll be back very soon the best pizza I've ever had no doubt about it! Also the 2 ladies working were very friendly and the pizza again was absolute perfection!
I moved to Corpus Christi from San Antonio in 1995..... I'd never heard of Panjo's the whole time I've been here. Then, someone brought several Panjo's pizzas (a variety of different ones) to the hospital where I work. Initially, I didn't give a thought until I tasted my first slice (meat lovers), and then I asked "where is this from?" PANJO'S... well here we are, and this place is the great. The place is old, and that's because they've lasted the test of time. The pizzas are on point! (I lived in Chicago, New York, Pennsylvania, ect. NE USA). THIS PIZZA , and the whole menu is Great!. My first visit, and I'm impressed beyond expectations!
