I like Stripes convenience stores very much and I had a particularly good experience with one worker in this store.
Franceska was extremely helpful and gracious with me. She had wonderful customer service skills and made my visit memorable.
I asked her if she was a manager, because she showed up for customers in a way that I expect managers to do - sometimes more than hourly staff.
She told me she is an assistant manager and I got really happy for the Stripes company. They made an excellent choice with her and she will be a terrific manager if they can hold on to her.
Managers who have both organizational skill and also such wonderful human skills are very in-demand these days. I think Franceska could probably write her own ticket - go into any area of customer service she wants.
This store is well equipped and well Staffed with the exception of 1 person that works in the laredo taco section that mistreated us on the morning of July 6th 2023 @ about 9am. Cold and Brash complaining about having to make churros. She was a bigger girl perhaps unhappy with her weight or her appearance 😏 🤷🏽♂️
They have good selections. They sell fishing stuff and stuff to go to beach such as boogie boards etc. (of course you'll have to pay more since its a convenient store).
Long lines but cashiers were on top of it and we were in and out in just a few minutes and they all had smiles on their faces!
Friendly people and absolutely love them Laredo tacos. Gettem every time.
Great breakfast tacos for a good price, they make it to order in front of you, fresh eggs, whole slices of bacon, fresh salsa, a very pleasant surprise. Of course then I was hoping to find them at other strips, nope. Wish I had a pic.

This place is always busy but they do a great job getting you in and out
This stripes has some good tacos compared to others... fast services even when it’s really packed. Only problem I have is the gas pumps never print the receipts so have to go inside for it every time.
Good Stripes. Cashiers are friendly. Store is clean. Laredo tacos are served right.
Downside. Overpriced. But as with anything on the island prices will be higher.
