We were originally going to eat sushi at another establishment before some friends of ours referred us to this place. We went on a Monday afternoon right after they opened so the place was nice and quiet. The staff was very helpful with the menu and even informed us of the best times to go if we were going to have our children in attendance with us. My wife and I are huge sushi fans and have eaten at just about every sushi place in town. This place by far has become our #1 spot. To say the food is delicious is an understatement.
For the people who leave bad reviews. The sushi here is worth the wait and even better that you get to bring your own drinks. Makes it a party every time we go with family or friends. At times we have to wait long but other times we dont but every time we go it's worth the wait and the sushi gets better every time. We love it here...
Great sushi! First time here, have always seen the people waiting outside and never waited ourselves, but went on a whim, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of the rolls we got.
We had 5 rolls and the blackened tuna ceviche, which was so good! All the rolls we had had different flavor and all the ingredients of each blended so well, to die for!
Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable.
BTW-CASH ONLY!! A bit of an inconvenience, but worth the trip to ATM, even though there is a sign on the door with credit card logos.
The BEST sushi in Corpus!! Hands down the best sushi I've ever had. This place has never disappointed me and we've eaten here plenty of times. It's always fresh and delicious! Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but its well worth it. Plus, its BYOB so you can't go wrong here.

Don't let first impressions deceive you! We were a bit skeptical at first from the outside but decided to give it a try because some friends had been before and like it. WOW!! Really great sushi!! Dumplings were amazing and I highly recommend the fire starter roll!! Very pleasantly suprised. Do yourself a favor and try South Texas Sushi! #STXSushi
Best sushi in town and the atmosphere, along with the BYOB perk is awesome. Tuna Tower is the must have here but their rolls are amazing also. White Tiger, Dragons Fire, Rattlesnake, Kamikaze, and the list goes on of incredible rolls.
worth the wait, beautiful plating, amazing service, had a great time amazing atmosphere very comfortable. felt like family. soon to become a regular for the tempura chrunch roll and atomic tuna tower and you will never go wrong with the crabslaw bowl just perfection shirts for sale also and backpacks just gotta check it out for yourself the art on the wall is by local artist for sale as well. music is on point
This place was AMAZING! We had the tuna tower and it was definitely worth it. It's cash only so make sure to bring cash or maybe something was up yesterday. The service was a little slow but it was pretty busy. It's byob so next time we'll definitely bring a bottle. The food was amazing the atmosphere was cozy and comforting. We'll definitely be back lots!!!
This is my 5th visit and each one has been unique and amazing! The chefs take pride in their creations! The Atomic Tuna Tower is addictive and my favorite! The servers are the best! Oh and don't forget it's BYOB!
I got the bi polar roll, mexican roll, and the white tiger. The mexican roll really brings a small tatse of mexico into japanese quisine it was awesome with the cream cheese and fried taste. The bi polar roll was just that with the sashimi slices on top and fried roll with cream cheese really differed but combined beautifully and the white tiger is exactly what the waiter had described a fresher taste that isnt clouded by cream cheese where you get to taste more of the traditional japanese roll that is decorated perfectly. They all were!!!
First time here and it wont be a last

Don't come for super quick service. Byob and relax as they handcraft you some amazing sushi! It may be a while on their busier days, but it's worth it.
