I mean where do I begin? I had been here a few times while downtown and Friday I was hired to play acoustic music there. I was blown away first off by the amazing natural reverb in the room I played in, then the veiw of downtown was sweet with the giant windows. The staff was very helpful and made amazing suggestions on food, and drinks for the night. While I played I noticed that people were able to purchase their beverages and then sit and listen to me play, very normal except when I realized you could buy a six pack and chill I was mind blown. The food was great, and the people that listened were amazing as well. I am looking forward to watching and playing live music here again! I am amazed that more people have not found this new live music gem!!
The Italian panini was hands down the best sandwich I've ever had! The cheese pizza I ordered for my son, the flavor was great but the crust could have been crispier, overall great meal though! We will be back!
Really innovative and delicious lunch menu that is prepared fast and fresh for office lunch hour breaks. Their dessert offerings are amazing too... definitely worth a visit if you're in or around downtown Corpus Christi.
Urbana is a unique restaurant/grocery where you can buy goods if you're in the downtown area or just sit and relax for a quick bite to eat. Or you can buy a bottle of wine or a six pack and enjoy it with your friends in Urbana's hip downtown atmosphere! Musical entertainment is on occasional Fridays. Enjoy!
I had the "Street Grinder" if you have acid reflux try something else, it is spicy but delicious! The price isn't bad either. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Breakfast looks good and dessert. I did not try those. They serve pizza as well. Breakfast 7-11 open til 9pm. Try it you will love it!
I frequent here quite a bit and have been happy with everything I've tried. While their prices may be higher than chain delis, their bread is truly baked from scratch. The quality of all their ingredients seems to be up there too.
I love the grinders - the street grinder and sergeant peppers are delicious.
I order their club sandwich on occasion and it can feed two people at lunch.
There isn't a ton of parking in front on Chaparral street, however the one way side street (if you're coming from Shoreline or Water streets) has plenty of parking.
Great wraps, breakfast sandwiches & Owners.The croissant they use is so good. Great selection of alcoholic drinks and teas. I was even surprised by some of the products they have available on the shelves. Not to mention, they have art work from all local artists & musical events sometimes. Definitely reccomend you check this place out.
Everything here is amazing. It's a deli, a grocery store, a convenience store, a lounge, an art studio, a place where you can buy a 6-pack and drink 3 and take 3 home, a live music venue, and some of the best hot food in town. From the rich to the homeless, literally every one can find something to here. They also carry delicious pastries and keep their shelves stocked with both the basics people love and high quality local products, such as jams and Lorelei beer. Their tomato soup is life changing, and I tried the gluten free vegan pizza crust with normal Mediterranean pizza toppings (vegan cheese is also available), and it was actually incredible. Tried a leftover piece from the fridge the next day and when cold it crumbled strangely in my mouth, but I microwaved it for 30 seconds and it was suddenly wonderful again. I can't talk positively about this place enough. Truly, everyone that comes here will find at least one reason to come back.
Come here pretty often for the triple club and the tomato basil soup (which is amazing!). I usually get pretty good service when I'm eating in or it's busy. If it's slow I've noticed that it takes at least a good 5 minutes before someone actually greets me and when I order to go they always forget the pickle spear 😬
I had a terrible time deciding what too order because so many ofthe sandwiches sounded so good. I ended up ordering a pizza and it was perfect- lightly charred on parts of the crust, crispy, great balance of flavors. When it was gone, I considered ordering another- not because I was still hungry, but just because it was that good!

Fantastic place! Trendy vibe! Great staff! Loved my sandwich, and then did a little shopping! Neat selection of food and beverage items! Will definitely be a regular stop when I'm in Corpus Christi!
This place typically has great food and service. My only complaint is that the meatballs used in the grinder do not hold their form very well. It was kind of like biting into a ball of crumbly mush.
