We stopped in on our way out of Corpus to come back home to Temple. Great service and delicious food. Will definitely be coming back on our next trip.
Tell me why this place reminds me so much of Bobbie’s Café in San Antonio. Let me first start off by saying the service is phenomenal. We got our drink order and drinks in the first minute we sat down. The dining room is small and the drive thru was packed so if you’re going to go for breakfast over the weekend, you better arrive early to beat the rush. I ordered the veggie omelette and it did not disappoint. Overall the omelette is a definite 5 stars. The biscuits are very good and they were just the right consistency between being firm and fluffy. However, the pancakes were not that great. Your average batter pancake with not much fluffiness. I would say to try the waffle before you try the pancakes. I would definitely go back and this time, try more dishes from their menu. Great expansive menu btw
Looked up breakfast tacos and decided to try it here. Service was fast and friendly. The tortillas were freshly made and were soft and tasted good. The tacos were well served, and prices are reasonable. They do have a drive thru. Carne Guidas would have been delicious but was borderline salty. The salsa also had a really good flavor, and I'm looking forward to coming back and trying something different.

I ordered Borracho French fries , did not like them , the French fries looked and tasted like frozen crinkle fries , fine at home , not good at a restaurant.
The carne guisada was just gravy , no meat ( used to have regular carne guisada with gravy and meat), and while I like queso ,it was smothered in it, and the queso was not that great. I left 3/4 of it on the plate , but I did not even take it home. My husband had chicken fajita plate , he said it was ok , but had too much green bell pepper and they were not cooked well. We did still absolutely LOVE the salsa and chips , the chips here are more corn taste than any place in town, and the flour chips were perfect. I wish they still sold the salsa in glass jars. The server was very nice and checked on us often. I did tell them I did not like the French fries and had left most of them , but no offer of any kind of compensation was given. I did buy a delicious cookie that I had as my lunch when I got back to my office. So I will go and buy chips and salsa to go , just not sure I will go back to eat.
Our table had a smattering of Mexican, breakfast, and Mexican breakfast. We all loved Eddie's. Great food and service. I had the barbacoa breakfast which was amazing. Their homemade tortillas are some of the best I've had. Next time we're in town we'll be back.
Honey hole!! Amazing homemade food. Best chorizo and carne quisada I've ever had and don't even get me started on the portions.... wife and I both had to take food home. Lots of food and crazy low prices. Diamond in the rough little hole in the wall restaurant. Super fast service and friendly too.. We will be back many times.
Very good food I've been going here since I was a young child and it hasn't changed food quality has stayed pretty much the same over the years, they have a lot of very good options especially for keto diets or any kind of restriction diets,I would recommend this place to any one especially if you're not from corpus I would definitely recommend giving this place a try you won't regret it.
This will be my go to resturant when I'm in Corpus. I reccomend y'all try their suicide taco. Don't make the mistake of ordering several tacos. They are huge! I could barely finish one. They are definitely worth it.
Food here was awesome and I would definitely come buy tacos again, again and again 😆 however Im not sure how it works in the kitchen as far as who's food comes out first. We saw 3 cars get there food that were behind us before we got ours. Everytime the young man came out he said we had to wait. 🤷🏻♀️Thats the only thing, but other than that everything was great. Thanks ☺️
The breakfast here is really delicious! Whenever I visit Corpus Christi, I always stop by for a meal. I’ve eaten here several times and can say a lot of the menu items are delicious. I love the huevos rancheros and carne guisada from here. The portions are plentiful, tortillas are delicious and good sized. Salsa is also amazing and they have fountain sodas which is a huge plus! They serve Big Red too which pretty much tells you a lot about this place, lol. Great Mexican restaurants must have Big Red fountain soda. I definitely recommend this place especially if you’re from out of town. You won’t regret it. Also the staff here are really nice and prompt! I’ll keep coming back!
