The food was incredible, but the experience was what made it worth it! They prep an endless amount of high quality ingredients, and you cook it yourself on the table top grill. So you make everything exactly how you want it, but do none of the prep or clean up. I love it!
Update: after a few visits my husband and I have developed a strategy: order 3-4 meats, but finish everything first before ordering any more meat, and do it one at a time. Also cook thin cut items first.
This is a top rated service bbq restaurant in Corpus Christi. They only opened just two years ago and receive great reviews and support from the locals. I came in for dinner after business and looking for some delicious BBQ. This is highly recommended by a business partner. I enjoyed my time here. The price was reasonable about $25 person for premium and $35 for deluxe (that included everything from premium beef, Korean back rip, bulgogi, belly pork seafoods...etc). My first impression is location and the customer service. It is easy to find parking lot and get a table inside. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable on helping you with what to get if you are first at BBQ restaurant. They even making some killer dipping sauce for you and delicious food. They got a full bar to serve drink as well. Come by and check it out for yourself. Highly recommend for any visitor or Korean BBQ lovers.
Went for the first time and really enjoyed it. We were seated quickly and able to order what we wanted pretty fast as well. The portions they brought us each time were quite generous for a party of 4. We were all able to really enjoy each one. The meats were very delicious and the sides were delicious as well. I would've preferred more variety but they all tasted fresh and the kimchi was spiced just right for us. Overall, we came out satisfied and happy with the outcome.

Our server, Mackenzie was awesome. She explained how the food was served and cooked in front of us. She was very attentive to us and made our dining experience great!!!!
Place is amazing. We enjoyed our initial experience here.
Walking in, the place is well lit and has a very clean environment.

The food quality is great. The mini bar for sides, soup and rice are kept clean at all times. Has very good taste. The meats are well seasoned and we couldn't stop eating!

Pros:
- Great friendly service from all the employees
- Excellent food and a fun experience
- Clean and comfortable atmosphere
- The air duct that captured smoke from the cooking processes at your table was extremely quiet. I've been to other style of restaurants where the exhaust vent was extremely loud.
Cons:
- I decided to upgrade to the premium selections so I could try the beef tongue. However the waitress was unaware that they were out of that. I was informed this after our other premium meat selections arrived. I probably would had not upgraded if i had know at time of ordering. My suggestion is to verify the premium selection is in stock before upgrading to that option and also the staff needs to be up to date with what stock they have
- cook top turned off a few times but staff was quick to turn it on.
- not really a con but they have strict rules with time limits...maximum eating times and also you will be charged if you have any extra meat on table uneaten. Nothing bad. Just be aware of it. My image shows those rules on the menu

Absolutely amazing. From the food to the service, I love it. It is very encouraged to stay here and take your time, and bring friends/family. We've gotten the same waitress twice and she is lovely. She checks in often and will offer specific items that we may need more of. It is encouraged to be all you can eat. The atmosphere makes you forget what time of day it is outside. The drinks are awesome. We will be making the two hour drive often over here.

Cool experience cooking your own food but with some details that need to be hammered out. The soft opening was a good experience for the restaurant, but I'm looking forward to the grand opening.
Having been to Gen Korean BBQ, it's difficult not to compare the two. I have to remember that they're in the process of opening, and especially in a place like Corpus Christi, they need to have different options and/or standards.
Most are going to go on the "hype" bandwagon because this is the first Korean BBQ restaurant in Corpus Christi, but you have to take a step back and ask if it's really worth 5 stars? It has the potential, but not yet.
The two different pricing options was unexpected; $28.99 for deluxe and $38.99 for premium. Save the cash for now as premium is not worth the price. The Galbi was mostly fat, not much meat. The steak was absolutely wonderful, melt in your mouth tenderness. I'm not a big fan of beef tongue, but even so I wouldn't recommend it. There's plenty of deluxe meats that would more than suffice for a good 2 hour experience. The spicy beef had some good flavor.
I'll keep an eye on this place as the experience and food options are a good starter-kit but they'll need to grow a little bit, especially the two pricing options. Maybe make it $29.99 per person for everything?
Recommended for the experience in Corpus but don't go for the premium, deluxe only.
