They made the cake for my wedding and it was outstanding! They delivered on time, and the cake was exactly how I wanted it. I was told by several other bakers that they could not make my cake due to the layers being extra tall....but when I came across let them eat cake they had absolutely no problem, assured me they could do it and they sure did deliver! The cake tasted really good as well! Thank you for making the cake of my dreams!
I love this place! My husband and I checked it out to do our wedding cake. We got lunch there and the asparagus quiche was amazing! We set up our cake tasting and she helped up pick several great options. They were all amazing but we went for Pina colada on the bottom and lemon Blueberry on top. Our cake was absolutely perfect!
We also loved the hummingbird cake, but she told us that it wasn't a very popular flavor, so not the best option for the wedding cake. So, it was my husband's birthday cake last year. And I can't say enough about how amazing the buttercream frosting is! I highly recommend this place for any type of cake. She also mentioned that she's the only baker in Corpus to do everything from scratch. Very impressive!

I submitted a request on the website for a price quote for a 90s themed birthday cake and quickly received a response from Michelle. She was very friendly and accommodating. I sent her a Pinterest photo with some “inspiration” to work from and let me tell you—she delivered!! The cake was beautiful! When we picked it up, it was quite heavy. Turns out our piña colada flavored cake was made with fresh pineapple and coconut flakes. Everyone at the party loved it and wanted to know who baked it. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience & I’m so grateful to Michelle and this bakery for helping make the birthday party special.
We really enjoyed Let Them Eat Cake & Eatery! They made both my wedding cake and my husbands groom’s cake. Everyone complimented the flavor and quality of the cakes! The cakes were gone by the end of the night! The only leftovers we had were the ones for us to have ourselves! We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID-19 but they worked with us every step of the way. Michelle also called us to make sure she had everything right a couple days before as well which was a nice plus! They looked and tasted perfect!
I had seen this place from the road & couldn't find it on Google Maps, because I didn't read the correct name, all I saw was the big sign on top, but when I pulled in, I realized it was Let Them Eat Cake. : ) The food was fantastic, I had the chicken Alfredo pasta & it was so much food, my mom helped polish it off, lol. I felt like I took mom to a good friend's home for a nice meal, awesome staff & such a welcoming atmosphere. I will make my way through their menu over the next few weeks. Try it, you will enjoy it.
Everything is delicious from wedding cakes and cupcakes to savory and sweet crepes to the apple turnovers and homemade pies! This place is amazing!
I ordered a birthday cake for my sister and not only did it look exactly how I wanted (she said it was so pretty she didn’t want to eat it), she also said it was delicious. She said the almond buttercream was perfect. It was delivered right on the requested time. I live out of state and ordering via phone and communicating through email was quick and easy. I’m a very happy customer and definitely will use them again in the future.
I'm so glad that my fiance and I found this place! We first had lunch there, the asparagus quiche was amazing. And it's awesome that she does a different quiche every week. We asked her about wedding cakes and she gave us a lot of information and tips. My fiance and I were able to get a day off together (which is rare) today, so I called yesterday and she was able to do our tasting today. It was hard to pick with the wonderful flavors but we were able to make a decision that we're excited about! They are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
