Service was awesome! But the food was so amazing. We had the queso dip appetizer and got fresh chips that had just been made. I ordered the chicken chimichanga and omg it was gigantic and so delicious. He got the combo fajitas and said they were the best he has ever had. We love Primos! Will always come back!

As always, Primo’s does not disappoint! It’s my favorite Mexican cuisine restaurant ANYWHERE. The food is delicious, served very quickly in generous portions, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. I always leave with a to-go box, an undone belt, and a smile. 5 stars!
I'm always skeptical about Mexican restaurants. My mom and grandmothers were amazing cooks so it's hard to find Mexican food I enjoy. I was pleasantly surprised. The rice was flavourful and not dry at all, it was perfect. The beans had delicious flavor and also. Not dry which was fantastic. We had the bean and queso dip, delicious. The chicken flautas, delicious. And the strawberry margarita....❤️. The food was hot and fresh. The hottest salsa was exactly what I hoping for. The heat was delivered in the best way. And lastly but definitely not to be forgotten, the service. Oh my gosh, the service. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ It's been a while since I've been served by someone so friendly who seemed to enjoy their job. Thank you for paying attention to us and filling my water without having to wave you down to ask for it. I look forward to returning. Only 4 stars because I haven't tried all of the menu yet. 😁

Fun little place in the middle of an old Council Bluffs neighborhood.
Service: Outstanding, friendly, funny, attentive.
Food: Good. Not the best Mexican you can imagine, but edible and tasty. My chimi was large and filling. Carne asada was good, as were the steak tacos.
Drink: No drink menu provided. I asked about what kind of margs they had. I was told, well, if I wanted something fancy there was banana and mango and ... when I said I was looking for something more traditional, I was told that they had strawberry. Sigh. When I finally just said I'd take a marg, I got something that tasted like it had only mixer in it.
But aside from the drink issues, I would definitely consider coming back if I were traveling through town, and would suggest it for locals if they haven't tried it.
The food was good this time. Actually impressed! The staff kept our water glasses full and my margarita was tasty too!
