This place was recommended by a few people on the Manatee Tour we'd just finished. We lucked out getting parking up close and not having to wait too long when we said we were willing to share a larger table with another small group. We were able to look out over the water. The plates are large and mine included A Lot of shrimp!! Be prepared for that and the fact that they are cash only. There is an ATM in the lobby though. My only regret is that we got 2 iced teas instead of one iced tea in water (after having a gross water experience at Charlies) because that meant we didn't have enough cash to give our wonderful waitress the tip that she deserved. I explained it to her and she was so sweet and understanding. Well worth the effort to get the cash and the wait to eat here!

O M Goodness. This place. Unbelievable. Fabulous dinner tonight. Started with a cup of chowder each. Real good. Wife, Crab Cake Sandwich. Awesome!! Me, Low Country Boil. Best I've ever had without a doubt. Service, Kelly. We sat at the bar. A couple beers for me, wife wine. Excellent. 5 star all the way. Price. Cheap for all we ate and we have leftovers.

What a fantastic place! I was wanting fresh seafood and my friend, who lives here, took us to this place. I was also afraid that getting coconut shrimp was a bad idea since it might not be locally caught, but it was fantastic! Lightly breaded and served with a hot marmalade sort of thing. We also split the mullet dip, which tastes like a super smokey tuna salad (but a bit better than that.) And when I asked for more crackers for the dip, she brought us a whole package of them. Our server was also able to split the dip on our separate checks, which was super nice of her. Really excellent food, excellent service, and a fun view of the water birds at the window - cranes, pelicans, and more. Note that it is CASH ONLY , though there is an ATM crammed next to the bathrooms.
