I love this pmace. Little hole in the wall place, but the food is amazing! Try the grilled veggie gyro. Messy but oh so good. The greek fries are amazing too. The owner is great too. Super nice and friendly.
Besides the food being amazing, everyone there was so caring, humble and even decided to share some Greek history with us. It was definitely an enjoyable experience. My new favorite Greek food place! <3
Went on a Friday during lunch expecting it to be packed based on the reviews and location. It's more of a "hidden gem". Absolutely loved it. The pita bread is so soft and fluffy. The gyro was perfect. Baklava topped off the wonderful lunch! The people there are nice and sociable!
Save room for baklava. Shared an appetizer Sampler Plate. Baba Ghanoush, humus, and tzatziki with pita. Gyros and Greek fries rounded it out. I had to order the baklava to go because I was too stuffed.
This place is a gem. The falafel and baklavah are the best I've had and the gyros were so good. I can't believe I've lived so close as long as I have and this is the first time I've been ! Definitely will be a new go to for us.
Food is Great and friendly owners ... Good people
Fabulous! Having lived in the Greek side of Cyprus, I am VERY picky! Food was the best Greek I've had in Dallas! Felt like I was back on island! The atmosphere isn't much to look at, but the owner makes up for it! She is simply a pleasure! Incredibly knowledgable! Offered advice for our recipes and recommended stores to find unique Greek ingredients! The baked goods were exquisite! This was our first of many many more visits! I'll be a customer for as long as the cafe stands!
I don't usually think about a place I've eaten throughout the next day, but this place makes me want to go back as soon as possible. The food was just excellent (I especially recommend the falafel gyro). Pita and hummus were a cut above. Dessert was just right. The owner and his daughter were very sweet and welcoming. Let's keep these kinds of places in business!
Great Greek food. Family owned and friendly quaint restaurant. Food is excellent so dont let the decor/location fool you. Greek salad and humus were great start to meal. Dont forget to save room for Baklava as it was awesome. Definitely worth the visit.
Greek cafe. It is very good service is wonderful best greek food and not just because i work their but i think it is the best
Greek Food Amazing. The Greek food it awesome!! Owners are so sweet and kind and friendly!! I love eating there. It is a great experience and great food!!! Must go there and eat immediately!!
Fabulous place. Try it for yourself. Owners are so sweet and full of Greek stories. We will definitely be back.
This was a very cozy dining space there are about seven tables in the establishment with a counter full of cookies, cheesecake, and baklava. My family and I started off with a creamy hummus and pita bread appetizer followed with a Greek fry. The fries were perfect and the hummus was creamy with a really garlicky pita bread. Then I was brought a Greek salad which was really tasty but, it didn't have any olives. Finally the dinner entree arrived with a crispy portion of gyro meat and assortment of vegetables. Definitely a favorite place to visit in South Dallas!
One of my favorite spots for Greek food. Service is genuine & welcoming. They are a mom & pop shop in oak cliff. Tonight's pick up entree (Apollo Gyro platter) wasn't as appetizing and a bit pricey for what we got. I've seen this place do better. It was still flavorful. Wish they gave us more veggies for the price.
Finally a good, traditional gyro in Dallas!! At this time, they're doing carry out and limited seating but there is a small art installation with tables and benches two doors down so it's still super convenient. We got the traditional gyros with Greek fries and they were delicious. Veggies were fresh, meat was crispy and tender, tzaziki was smooth and refreshing. The fries were very good, with (I think) Greek oregano adding a little sweetness to complement the feta. So so so good!
I got the vegetable gyro because they were out of falafel and to my surprise it was amazing! This was my 1st time going and I will definitely be back!! Sorry I ate it so.fast that I don't have a pic to share😋
2nd Time: I got the falafel gyro with fries. It was ok but not better than the vegetable gyro which I ate so fast that I forgot to take a pic. Surprisingly the vegetable gyro had more flavor than the falafel gyro.
Ordered take out for my colleagues and myself. Order was ready at the indicated time. Had the mixed starter, the humus was especially good. The domos were great as well. The bread was good and enough. The gyros was very good, juicy meat and good portions. Overall it was a very good meal. Highly recommended. Lovely staff.
I found a new favorite place. My husband and I got gyros. He got a traditional and I had chicken. We also got fries to share. The food was excellent! Will definitely order again.
Wife and I decided on Greek food for the night. Haven’t had any luck finding a place that close to us but we were in the area and decided on this place. The food is excellent and full of flavor! Will come back again!
Loved getting dinner here! The person who took our order & made our food was so kind and the food was incredible. I got a lamb gyro & loved it - well priced too!
Wow. The service and the food were both fantastic! Best traditional gyro I’ve ever had in my life. the sweet potato fries hummus and tzatziki were phenomenal. New favorite spot for sure!
The food was absolutely delicious and clearly fresh! I visited with three other friends and we enjoyed the hummus, gyros, and salad. All dishes were very tasty.
The prices did not seem to reflect the atmosphere or portions, that being the reason for 4 stars. However, the food was delicious and the waitress was sweet.
