Five star food and atmosphere. 4 star service. Staff seems over worked or maybe it was a bad day. Being in the industry I completely understand an off day. But at least smile. I would gladly support since the product is good. If I had a choice and there are many like Starbucks around the corner for coffee or even One Stop across the street for their drip coffee with a quirky staff.
As a service industry you can always do better. Granted I waited 7 mins for my to go coffee. That was not as bad as no thank you or proper greeting.
After review number 265 … this is my first 4 star for service.
Loved this location so much. Jacob was our waiter and he was very attentive and nice. I had plenty of questions since I’m a vegan, he helped me pick somethings outside of my norm here that were still within my restrictions.
First time here. Came on a Sunday morning around 9:30 AM. Parking lot is open & valet is optional. Seating is also open & seat yourself. It wasn’t too crowded & we found seating right away. Dogs are allowed on the patio. Nice casual vibe. Kid friendly.
Iced Horchata latte (decaf) - More coffee flavor with very slight cinnamon.
Iced lavender latte - Very much lavender. Pleasant creaminess.
Coconut Chia Seed Pudding - Lots of berries & lots of nut mix. Nut mix stays crunchy even post mixing. Evident coconut throughout. Not as slimy as I typically expect from chia.
The Ascension Omelette - Potatoes are pretty standard; nice crisp on the outside, nice and fluffy on the inside. Not much flavor; just lightly salted. Omelette was cooked nicely & had good flavor.
Overall, everything was above average. I wouldn’t call anything amazing, but everything was good. I’d recommend this place & I’d come back.
