We were VERY impressed with Carillon. The atmosphere was super unique and filled with interesting history. It was refreshing to go into a brewery like this. Carillon is different than other breweries and you can tell they want their guests to have an experience there.
The beers were tasty and it was neat to learn that about the old recipes of beer. They also used coriander and ginger in two of them which I had never had before. The porter and red ale was our favorites. And the BEST part was the food. I had the best reuben of my life. It was perfect. The bread did not scratch your mouth, the corned beef was thinly sliced and tender and the sauerkraut tasted fresh. We also ordered fish and chips and those were to die for as well. The chips (fries) were so flawless. They were cut into wedges and were perfectly crispy. The fish was seasoned very well and cooked to perfection. We even had the raspberry cobbler for dessert and it was very flavorful and left you wanting more. Everything we ordered was above average. Lastly, our server Dylan T was really great. He was very enthusiastic and made you feel very welcome. We were very pleased with our experience and can't wait to return!
Wonderful atmosphere and staff! The period beer is different and refreshing. I love the old- timey costumes and spacious dining room. It's so cozy in the winter with the big fireplaces. The food has improved tremendously. The chef's specials are out of this world.
The carillon brewery is a must see destination the atmosphere, food and beer are amazing and are worth more than the asking price
