I stumbled upon this place doing a google search for breakfast near me. My paint and body shop is on college Ave, and normally we are stuck with Waffle House or driving to downtown Decatur. This place is a hidden gem! From the AMAZING cake's on display for purchase (legit have any dessert that you could want or imagine) to the delicious breakfast and lunch menu, to the cute decor inside, this place is 5 stars for sure! I was so excited to see they offered a chicken sausage for breakfast. Being someone who doesn't eat pork, this is hard to find!!! They sealed the deal with the fresh marble rye bread. Can't wait to come back for lunch with my kids. Absolutely delicious food and cakes!
I bought the rum cake for our dessert for Christmas. It is without a doubt the best cake I’ve ever eaten in my 56 years! Cake layers were so moist! Not too dense. The chocolate mousse was perfection. And the mascarpone on the outside created the perfect balance. Yum! Yum! Yum!
This place is a hidden gem! I had the fish patty po boy sandwich and the desserts are wonderful! I tried the yummy Chocolate on chocolate cake and the Almond butter cream cake. Both were delicious. They had an impressive menu of breakfast items, soup and sandwich combos and wonderfully fresh salads too. The bakery display case has cheesecakes, brownies, fresh huge portions of apple and cherry pies just to name a few. You will be glad you stopped by :-)
