My job took my team here for an after work team building dinner last week, there were 15 of us and we were so glad they were able to accommodate us. We were all able to order our individual meals and so with that being said, we were glad with the variety of choices they had! Our table looked like a Thanksgiving spread and everyone was very happy with their food, we actually wish we could come here as a team for weekly meetings...
Just about every one said they would be coming back here for lunch (price specials are great) and some for dinner on their owns too. We even asked our Boss could we use them for any events we have at the company for their catering services, especially Thanksgivng!!!!I
If you haven't tried this place.....run Forest run and get there, the food is definitely worth it and the price is right!!
The turkey wings were tender, the rice & gravy, cabbage & yams were all good, good flavor & a little crunch to the cabbage. Good location, very limited parking, steady crowd. The restaurant appeared clean, the staff were knowledgeable, reasonable price & good size portions. Very good variety, I'd like to try the rib tips or oxtails next time. An asset to the neighborhood!
Tried the rib tips....not the best, sauce wasn't good, I'll stick to the turkey wings. I've never been to this place when there wasn't a line, they have a great faithful crowd of locals.
Tried the oxtails, could've been more tender, the gravy didn't have much taste. Was given a good helping of oxtails though. So far, The turkey wings are the best
Great Soul Food. This place has some great soul food. The chicken and fish had great flavor.
