We went here for breakfast and it was amazing, we all had French toast but different kinds, i had it stuffed with marscapone cheese with bacon and chocolate chips on top my sweetie had plain with coconut on top and our friend had the vegan everybody loved it! Thank you! Great place!
Favorite spot in Denon! Have loved this wonderful place for years. I can bring family and they love the great food warm friendly service. I can also impress my customers by bringing them here to experience not only the eclectic menu but also the ambiance experienced nowhere else in Denton. I find Valeree and Suzanne always willing to accommodate this foodie with high expectations!
The Chestnut Tree provided catering for an event we recently hosted and we were very pleased with everything! Suzanne the owner was wonderful to work with and provided recommendations to help us make selections that worked perfectly. Rossana built the most beautiful grazing table and provided great service! We are very thankful for the excellent experience they provided and highly recommend them!
Coffee shop and eatery in one. (Technically has separate coffee shop, the Mug, inside the Bistro - can order coffee to go at the coffee bar (with a bit of cafe-style indoor seating right near door) or be seated at table for sit down meal experience (with both drink menu and food menu). Food menu includes breakfast/brunch foods as well as lunch foods (mostly salads, soup and sandwiches). Nice variety of options with very reasonable prices. Cute interior with quotes across the walls. Comfortable place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a meal alone or with a small group. There are booths along walls that seat 4-6 people and stand alone tables in the middle. During slow hours between meal rushes, a good place for enjoying a cup of tea or coffee while reading or studying.
Very yummy breakfast. We ordered the eggs Benedict, a breakfast sandwich and the French toast. All things were solid. They also have a mimosa bar during brunch on Saturday.
What you'd expect from a little cafe. The mimosa bar was nice - plenty of options of juices to choose from. The sandwiches had great flavor and all portions were just enough to leave you satisfied. Coffee was good as well (try the dirty chai!)
Great mimosa bar! Amazing Cobb salad! Hubby’s soup was cold. They fixed the issue. Only reason I took away a star. Service was great. Cute place.
We visited for Sunday brunch the food was fantastic and the staff was remarkably quick and friendly. the choices for coffee or tea seemed endless. well worth the time to stop in for some great food.
Great atmosphere in historic downtown building. Food was tasty and hot. Loved the menu items so hard to pick. Espresso was tasty with a kick! The iced teas are refreshing without being over flavored. I had the peach mango Service was perfect. Enrique was fantastic.
Great place for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Will come again when in town. Almost forgot. We were there on a saturday and pleasant live music playing up front. Very relaxing and festive. A very nice touch to have live music.
