We've been meaning to try Egg House Cafe ever since it opened a few months ago. We finally had our chance - on Father's Day. There was a bit of a wait for seating and apologies that our food was taking so long, perfectly understandable that day. But everything was delicious and worth the wait.
I had the French Crepes with lots of yummy berries with a side of thick, perfectly cooked and tasty bacon. I can't remember what hubs had because I was too focused on my own plate �, but I do remember him saying it was very good and he'd come back again - high praise indeed! They kept my coffee and our waters filled. Great service at the table.
They need dedicated staff to seat people and run the register. Someone was doing triple duty that day and the counter was often unattended with lines in and out clogging the entrance. Perhaps a better set up to keep the traffic jam down.
Just a few years ago, Denton had only a couple of so-so breakfast places. Now there's one on nearly every corner, and most are very good. Egg House Cafe is high on our favorites list. We will definitely be back - many times!
My wife and I love this place. It’s nearly a weekly visit for us. The steak skillet is my favorite, but you really cannot go wrong with this place. Literally everything on the menu is fantastic. All of the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome and taken care of. The owners always say hey and welcome you in with a smile. This a great place owned by great people.
My husband and I LOVE this place. It’s so good! We always get the breakfast skillets. I get the meat skillet (bacon, sausage, and ham) and my husband gets the veggie skillet (mushrooms, tomatoes, and spinach plus he add avocado). I added some of the house made salsa to mine and wow! This is probably our new regular breakfast place.
Lou is an amazing server and the food is spectacular. I had already started eating before I remembered to take pics so don’t judge the food in my pics. She recommended a steak which I was anxious but hesitant. It was cooked perfectly, juicy, and really good. First time here but I will come see Lou (aka The Legend of Denton) again.
Everything about this restaurant makes me want to go back, all of the staff was pleasant and professional. The atmosphere was relaxing while cheery, and the food was wonderful. Though one of my favorites at home, I have never before found a restaurant that will put things in their waffle batter! I had the Waffle N' More with blueberries added to the batter, and it was amazing!
I always love eating here with my granny for breakfast when she visits, and every single time the staff is nothing short of friendly, professional, and attentive. Food is great, coffee was fresh, and they made sure all needs are met, even those we forget to ask about. I also really love that they have fresh fruits with a nice crispness to them. I hate going places with overly soft/gooey berries!
First time here and the food and service was amazing! Ordered the steak skillet and Nutella banana French toast. Kim was our server and she was amazing! The manager also stopped by and checked on the table. Will def be back when I’m in town.
Great place. Great price. Set up of the place is beautiful. I need to emphasize that from the first moment you walk in the entire staff is very polite and professional. Food is very tasty and pretty nice size. I can’t express how thankful I am for having a great breakfast. I really enjoyed spending time at this place. I will recommend it for sure 💯
We always love coming to Egg House Cafe! Kim is our favorite waitress - she’s a mind-reader. The coffee is excellent, the food is always fresh and delicious, and look how beautiful the Mean Green Benedict is!
First time here and it will not be the last I wanted breakfast but something in particular and Egg House Cafe has exactly what I wanted and how I wanted... So delicious 😋 I highly recommend breakfast menu and will try lunch next time.. Great customer service completely amazing experience.
