West Oak is our favorite coffee shop in Denton -- we've been going here for amazing coffee and the relaxing atmosphere since it opened. The food is satisfying and they have great crafted beer on tap. They have local artwork on display, good music playing and an outdoor patio. We love it!!
Every Sunday morning so many bikers meeting at this point. We share the stories of our bikes and riding. First thing everybody does is grabbing a cup of coffee and yummy brakefast. There are very good healthy choices in the menu and friendly service too. I definitely recommend this place if you are around this area any time.
Great coffee. It's nice to receive a long black espresso coffee that still had a lovely crema on top. Coffee was not burnt like most espressos I have had on my visit. Flavor is full and smooth. I will recommend to my Aussie friends.
Awesome relaxed friendly vibe. Great place to study or spend your time with a good book. Coffee is of great quality and they have unique coffee combinations.
Great Coffee Shop on the Square. Stopped in here while wandering around the quaint Denton square. Great atmosphere and great coffee. If we are in town, we will definitely stop in again.
Great atmosphere! Wish it had more seating, but a great place to hang and grab a cup. Wifi worked well for me, not some others complained of speed/access. Overall a nice little nook to get stuff done
I love this place! I come here as often as I can. It’s a great study location as well as a great place to visit with friends. Pictured is the blueberry muffin and blueberry latte with oat milk, both of which I highly recommend. The baristas are always very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Lois recommended the blueberry latte based on my coffee preferences, and it was spot on! Stop by and enjoy a coffee if you are in town, it is worth it.
We truly enjoyed this place. The breakfast and coffee were great as well as the staff. People were very friendly.
Used to be obsessed with Cinnamon rolls. They have the best I've ever had.
Also, adding their fruity pebble milkor Cinnamon milk to any coffee beverage is like adding a splash of magic.
Great drinks and the breakfast menu items are surprisingly affordable and delicious. I like the industrial atmosphere in here more than the revamped Jupiter House. Seating is not always available at peak times.
Amazing service and outstanding food and beverages. They are skilled at putting designs in the drinks and it looks really cool. Great location!
West Oak is the epitome of a classic, rustic, and cozy coffee shop. I've been coming here for the last 4 years since I went to UNT and I've been a consistent customer. All of their seasonal speciality coffees especially the 'Cold Brew Cobbler' and 'Pretty in Pink' are phenomenal. I remember a few years ago they had a campfire inspired coffee with a roasted marshmallow on top and I was IN LOVE with that drink. This coffee shop doesn't use any overly sweet chemical-y syrups and use fresh flavors such as the strawberry marscapone and the cinnamon roll milk they make themselves from real cinnamon rolls. I can't get over the quality of this coffee shop is!
So sad to be moving from Denton so bought one of their coffees to take home and use. The baristas are ALWAYS nice and they have a great reward system. I'm going to miss this Denton staple but when I'm in the area I'm definitely going to stop by.
The people alone make this place great but the coffeeeeeeee.....*insert drool* is so good!!!! I got the vanilla latte with whole milk and was blown away the first sip. It wasn't bitter and went down so smooth. If you like your coffee sweet, this is your drink. I'll probably get it without a flavor next time but I'm not disappointed with this. 10/10
Always stop here if they're open and I'm in Denton. This place is very much a craft coffee bar -- the seasonal rotations are inventive and delicious!! Also, if it's in stock, I recommend the fried chicken sliders ♡
