Every time I've been to The Smokehouse...the service was wonderful (Hi Sadee) and professional, the food was hot, delicious and served in a reasonable timeframe. The iced tea is the best on the planet and the pies are the greatest in our solar system. This is not an exaggeration. Helpful Hint: Order the catfish or the chicken fried steak for a near euphoric sensation of the tastebuds. Sincerely, Me.
Friendly down to earth good place to eat. Had the chicken fried steak with gravy, okra and onion rings. Real people eat here in a relaxed atmosphere. We will be back!
Best BBQ bang for the buck. I got the three meat plate with 2 sides - Mac n cheese and fried okra. For meat, I got ribs, brisket, and Turkey. My wife got the chicken with her meal and really enjoyed it. Their sauce is good, too. This place has been the most consistent bbq place I’ve been to. I used to go quite a bit a little over 10 years ago and the food is just as good now as it was back then. I’d love to see how they make it so I could learn a thing or two. The service is always great and you get huge drinks. Check them out!
First time here. This a kind of place the locals would go. The staff very polite. I had a two meat plate - ribs and brisket with baked beans and German fried potatoes on the side. The portions are huge. I couldn't eat it all. The ribs were very good. I got the lean side of the brisket. A little dry but good. It is a place I will go back to if I am in the area.
the prices are awesome, the food portions are huge. if you are willing to go off the beaten path as far as location is concerned you will get a pleasant surprise. 👌🏼 i had the chef 🥗🥩 salad and i couldn't even finish half of it.😋
I heard the news they are closing on 12/30. I've eaten here for years. I had to go in and have some ribs and fries which was excellent. It was great. Love their bbq sauce. Altough I've moved an hour away, I'll miss this place. Owners are great people, apparently the owner of the building is not!!!
