This Johnny Carinos is the simple cookie cutter chain restaurant. Got in and out with my to go order in less than 30 minutes. Which for a block and a half from my apartment complex isn't too bad. Their beer is a little pricey though. Good food.
Monday nights my girlfriend and I go with two roommates - family sized entres are the price of normal entres and you can add unlimited soup and salads for $1 a person. We fill up on soups and salads, split the $15 huge entree four ways and take it home. 2 delicious meals for about $5.. Can't beat that!
We sat at the bar when we came in. It was a slow Friday night, Clancy was the bartender that night. I ordered the chop House salad with the sirloin steak and spaghetti and tomato sauce side.. the steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, the pasta was Al dente and the sauce was really much better than I expected. Clancy was fun and fairly attentive to our needs considering she was busy being the only person there on that side.
It's a great place to eat! Staff is kind and attentive, food is top notch but not too expensive, clean bathrooms and the atmosphere is cozy but still romantic! We loved spending our anniversary dinner here!
Really enjoyed Johnny Carino's today for an after-hours midday meal. My son ordered the kid's Pepperoni - Pepperoni pizza and he loved it. My wife had the Spicy Shrimp & Scallops and All-You-Can-Eat Caesar Salad and said there were plenty of shrimp and scallops with the right amount of heat!! She did mention there may need to be a reduction in the amount of sun-dried tomatoes used in her next one, but all in all a good meal. I took advantage of the Bowtie Chicken (New Item) without bacon and I absolutely loved what I received. D.J. offered great attentive service and that made it worth the visit!!! Will definitely be back!! Bar Daily Deals are worth another visit.
In town visiting family, was walking distance. I had calamari, was really tender and the marinara sauce was spot on.
Dinner salad and then chicken parmesan.
Was very good but my grandma's was hard to beat.

I would say this place is top notch all types of food and drink. It is family setting with big plates of food. It feels casual to come and eat for lunch. Lots of pasta, pizza, and food and drink specials.
