I've eaten at many Midwestern Chinese Buffets, and usually I like them. This place was in the top 10%. Good recipes, fresh food, good selection, reasonable prices, attentive staff. I was very pleased and I will definitely go back. I enjoyed my dinner very much.
Good Chinese Buffet. As buffets go, this one is right up there. Plenty of variety and everything is fresh and flavorful. They even have a Mongolian grill so you can create your own mix of meats, vegetables and sauces and they will griddle cook it before your eyes.

Worth the drive!. We used to eat here before New China King opened here, and always liked it. Tried it the other day, wow, it is even better! There was nothing on the buffet that was not made the way it should be! It was a pleasant surprise, very tasty, even uses real ice cream for your dessert. So many place you eat at for a buffet leave you dissapointed, feeling like you did not get your moneys worth. Not here, it is well worth the money. We live over an hour away, but now plan to come here monthly. Try it, you will love it!

We go here because it's really close to TWU (walking distance in good weather) and the food is really good. The prices are also good, cheaper than the other buffets we tried in Denton, and with better food. If you're looking for a Chinese buffet in Denton, this one's it! :)
Great place with great staff!
I came with a group of friends. My first visit. Most of the food options tasted delicious. Some items I didn't like so me but it still tasted ok. I would definitely visit again with family and friends.
Good food, huge selection, and it was pretty clean. The wait staff was pleasant and the drinks never ran dry and they kept our table cleaned off. Good selection for people with shellfish allergies as well, though I wish they would kind of keep their shrimp and other stuff on a table together and away from most of the other foods.
This place was amazing, it may be small but it has a big flavor pool. I was able to try some foods I’ve always wished to try and was not disappointed. They even have an ice cream area. 10/10 in my book. Even if I didn’t like all of the foods they were still made good.

It’s just another China King Buffet. I feel whenever I review these places, I end up saying the same things, so I’ll keep it short this time. The decor was nice, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. Most of the food tasted fresh, however all of the chicken tasted a little dry for some reason. It was strange, because the other meats like the fish and ribs tasted fine. It was a Friday night so they had crab legs, which were alright but I would’ve preferred a cheaper dinner over the option of crab legs. Oh well, I guess that’s my fault for coming in on a Friday night.
Overall, it was a fine experience, especially for a long time fan of the China King franchise. Give it a shot.
