Best homemade ice cream I've ever had. Oreo cream, mint chip, and soft serve are my go-tos. I've never found soft serve like this anywhere else. It's creamy and rich and, to be honest, addictive. Ice cream cakes are also the best!
Anyone who gives Denville Dairy less than 5 stars needs a Covid test because they’ve clearly lost there sense of taste. Ice cream is amazing - we’ve ordered several cakes from them, service is always impeccable. Yes they are busy but yes the wait is 1000% worth it.
So, I have been getting ice cream from this place for quite sometime, however yesterday I decided on getting a medium cup of Oreo Cream. I was eating it in my car and noticed there was a long hair in the ice cream that I was about to eat. I pulled the hair out and tossed it out my window. I examined the remaining in my cup, I took this as an isolated hair and ended up finishing my cup. I’m not sure what can be done to prevent future hair experiences, but perhaps hair nets. I know it wasn’t my hair because I don’t have any.

It's cool that DD (no, not the donut place, this place) has been around for many years and remains independent and hires local kids. All of these facts are worthy of praise. However, the ice cream is just average. I mean, if you are comparing it the grocery store weekly sale ice cream, sure, it's amazing. But for local ice cream parlor, real-deal ice cream, I think Scoops in Boonton is much better.
It might have been 27 degrees outside, but it was perfect. Don't miss this ice cream stop.
Very cute and nice local home made ice cream shop. There are some good vegan ice cream favors and take home packages. Ice cream cakes look awesome! Vanilla chip ice cream is so simple and the best by far. Definitely going back to try other favors!
The ice cream here is amazing! I tried it for the first time as we were driving through the area and found it to be top quality. I had the pumpkin and butter pecan flavours which were both delicious and perfect. The only slightly disappointing thing is they said they couldn’t put two flavours in the small cup which was already huge, and it had to be in a medium which to me is a large. They also said they couldn’t put the two flavours side by side (like is standard in Europe) and had to be on top of each other which seems odd. I had to go through one flavour to get to the next and there was less of one than the other. Seems excessive. In any case I would still go out of my way to return here.
It's been a while since I visited and I forgot how amazing their ice cream is. I had a scoop of coffee Oreo and a scoop of chocolate peanut butter pretzel and they were both excellent. They also had adequate staff for a Sunday evening so there was really no wait to speak of. I won't wait so long for my next visit.
