This is a must! True New York diner! My husband went to West Point & started going there 30yrs ago. Now we make a point to stop there every time we travel through from Cincinnati to Boston.
We stopped today for lunch and as always it did not disappoint! They did a great job of offering indoor & outdoor seating with lots of social distancing & the staff is super friendly!
The portions were great size, delicious, and plenty left overs for a snack on our travels.
Good food but over priced. Diners typically include a lot of extras with the meal for free and it’s a la carte. Service is good and the food comes out in a timely manner. I just think they need to go back to the way it used to be like a normal diner with everything included. Free cookies on the way out is a plus.
First place I tried on this trip. Was not disappointed at all. Traditional diner fare. The portion of meatloaf was generous and flavorful. Was even given the option of having the gravy on the side ... had them put it on. The only downside of my visit was the size of the booth. It was too small for my liking. I felt wedged into the spot and not to comfortable. It did make me sit up straight so that was a plus.
Food is delicious and place is clean, service is great.

Friendly service typical diner food/quality clean and welcoming casual environment. NJ diners are some of the best around so while this one is nothing special it delivers the reliable dining experience that everyone from NJ knows and loves.
First time visitor and would gladly come back! I went to stop by to get blood work done and I saw the diner across from the area. Once I walked inside, it was very flashy and old school. All the employees were very friendly and attentive. My meal came out perfect and was really delightful! They put a lot of care into the food and made me really happy. Quiet atmosphere too!
Been going there with my family for almost 15 years now, and loved it every time. Tried many of the dishes. From the Gyros, to burgers, dinners, and of course...breakfast. Great every time. Service has always been friendly, and attentive. And if you can leave the place without buying any of the desserts, then you have way more willpower than I do!
Impressive menu with all sorts of ethnic dishes and house made turkey burgers, desserts, and more. Friendly service, clean and comfortable unassuming diner ambiance, zero attitude. A solid choice. That said, the food was not amazing. My matzoh ball soup broth tasted like it came from a package. The chocolate cake was dry, not moist as it should be.
We were out in NJ running chores and it was getting late, so we checked out places to eat and Alexis came up as close by. Pandemic wise we don't do sit down anymore, so we ordered it to go and sat at the tables they had set up outside. One burger and one cheeseburger. They were delicious. Well grilled, just the right amount of char to give it flavor, and cooked perfectly. Great onion rings and fries too. Staff was very friendly. Thanks...
