What an incredible experience. We were coming into Denville for an extended weekend which happened to be my wife's birthday. I ordered the cake, picked it up and when we all sat down to a slice it was just incredible. Great service and great taste. Highly recommend you use Vikingos.
Couldn’t be any happier! Beyond impressed with the cake for my daughters confirmation. I didn’t have much input on what the cake looked like I just let the bakery do the work and I was blown away not only by the beauty of it but it was DELICIOUS!!! Owner is fantastic to work with. So nice to have a local bakery again with quality product and someone who is actually pleasant!! I will be recommending Vikingos to everyone. THANK YOU!!
All I can say is WOW!!! We were totally impressed beyond words with our cake from Vikingos. They were so helpful and very responsive to all my emails and spent time with me in the store answering questions and making suggestions. We ordered a yellow cake with Nutella Ganache filling and requested "Ahoy it's a boy" written on the top. As you can see in the picture, they went above and beyond my expectations and the cake was so yummy! Everyone at the party commented on how delicious it was and how creative. Thanks Vikingos for exceeding our expectations! We will be back.
This cake was created for my birthday with Nutella filling and chocolate cake!! It was not only absolutely gorgeous and perfect but tasted FANTASTIC!!! Nicole you did such an amazing job!!!
I ordered a cake for my mother's 90th birthday party (which was held the day before Mother's Day)the Monday before Mother's Day weekend. Other bakeries wouldn't accept a custom cake order that late for this particular weekend. The person who took the order was very friendly and helpful. The cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious. Moist, not too much icing, delicious filling. Worth every penny. We will definitely order again.
I have been there twice since the new owners took over.
The selection is different than every other bakery ( I like different ). The brownie cake with cookies, pretzels and a ton of other stuff as a topping was great.
My mother loved the apple pie crumb cake ( she doesn’t really eat any fruit ).
I bought the cream cheese tort with nuts caramel and brownie topping .... the cream cheese was so light and fluffy the nuts and caramel added to the experience. Everyone loved it!!!
Great job thinking of different twists on bakery items. I can’t wait to go back!!
Vikingos created a spectacular cake for my daughter’s baby shower. We gave basic information re: colors, theme, and preferred style, and the cake that was created was as beautiful as it was delicious. It was gorgeous. We chose the strawberry jam filling and buttercream icing on yellow cake. The flavor was remarkable. I highly recommend Vikingos Cake Shoppe and Bakery.
WOW! If you love pound cake - BEWARE ! I just had the best pound cake I ever tasted and I am always searching for good pound cake! This one at Vikingos in Denville was called "Banana Peanut Butter Whipped Pound Cake" and it was out of this world delicious! Gonna go back and try the other flavor pound cake she had ( a pecan-maple) . Shark Tank?
After new management a couple years back, after flooding, and after rebuilding, Viking Bakery had done it again. The staff is always friendly and smiling, the food is baked fresh daily and any time I call ahead to place an order or reserve something, I'm never disappointed. Their cakes are out of this world, better than Cake Boss and much more affordable! If you haven't been there yet, I strongly recommend it.
