Great waitress. Very fun and fast and nice. Food was ok.

My lunch date was late and had to leave quickly after arriving. The server accommodated us, both in service and in attitude. Since I had our meal at the counter I was able to observe the manager catch up the orders in very efficient fashion, cooking more and in greatly reduced time. Amazing. Food was great tasting, though I think that there should have been better access to napkins. Good food, good servers, good management-I left my phone at the counter, and it followed me to the door-great job Steak 'n Shake!

When I walked in the waitress was nice, good personality and took my order right away, I ordered a chocolate milkshake which was fabulous. The garlic burger and fries was delicious. The day shift definitely knows how to make a milkshake. The night shift does not know how to make a milkshake. When I got that one before I left it was way thin, runny, like most places make. So get your milkshakes before 5:00 change of shift.
