Gateway Cafe in DuBois, PA was great! I went several times during my week long stay in the area. I was able to talk to the chef about gluten-free menu options. The bartender was attentive and friendly. TVs showed sports events and there were families dining. I caught karaoke night as well. I will definitely recommend this lounge to friends!
It is so great to have this place open again. Nice atmosphere with outstanding food and service. The menu is awesome with a wide variety of appetizers and entrees plus they serve Straub Amber. Good luck George!
This is a lovely bar/restaurant!! The lighting is a bit dark but it’s brightened up by plug in lights and other festive decorations - all of which make this place feel super homey! The bartender and our waitress were SO friendly & very accommodating. Our waitress had a great sense of humor & was willing to talk to us, and she even took interest in our lives (on the surface level). Again, this just made it feel super homey. It’s on the side of the road and doesn’t look like much from the outside but their food & service says otherwise!!! Stop by for a yummy lunch or dinner… or a drink. Great beverage menu :) 10/10 would recommend to any travelers or locals!

Good food at a great price! They are open late, and have a full bar. I had the rib eye steak and my daughter ordered the lasagna. We finished our meal with the chocolate cookie sundae. They were severely understaffed, as they let three servers go the night we dined. However our server was pleasant, helpful, and attentive. We will return. I want to try the prime rib next.
Came here with my gf and her gram. I got haddock with french fries and mac n cheese. The meal was good, the mac was so good and its hard to mess up french fries. The haddock had a little to much lemon pepper on it but thats a personal preference so I won't hold it against them. Our waiter was fantastic did everything you expect with no delay and it was busy when we went in. Excellent staff and food. Roughly cost $20 to $25 per person so prices were also fair.
Staying at a nearby hotel, we found this Cafe on Google maps. Food is outstanding! Many items are made from scratch. Wide selection of appetizers, salads, soups, wraps/sandwiches and dinners to choose from. Also a nice list of beers and drinks. Reasonably price! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Definitely going to remember this Cafe the next time I'm in this area. Check it out for yourself. You will not be disappointed!
Everything was wonderfully cooked and hot. From the fried green tomatoes the beautifully shaved corn beef and piping hot crispy wings. Do not miss this cafe if your in the neighborhood and want a great meal at reasonable prices. Becky and John will treat you well and take good care of you!!
Food is excellent. Blue cheese dressing out of this world. Our waitress Rebecca was outstanding and so sweet. Had haddock deep-fried so good. Worth the little jog off I80 to go. If in the area I HIGHLY recommend. I don't think you will regret it.
Would've gave a 5 star but the timing was really bad that evening. Were there for a long time.... breaded mushrooms were delicious, had the 3 cheese burger and was delicious (needs more pickles), got "crispy" chicken salad and that was good also (Mixed greens not ice berg lettuce though). Made "cherry" cokes were great!
