We went looking for the Cowboy place, but it was closed on Wednesdays, so settled for the Moose Outpost. It may have been the best burgers we have had in ages. Thick homemade like patties, fresh veggies, you can pick from fresh or grilled onions. They also had amazing fries. There were special shakes of the day. We could pick from rhubarb, peanut butter, or banana on this particular.
This place is absolutely great! A small spot with outdoor seating, the burgers were delicious and the fries were easily some of the BEST we've ever had. A really cool spot with delicious food. Our daughter loved the giant moose and the coloring books to use while waiting. A definite "recommend"!
Stopped for lunch! Breakfast sandwich, burgers, fries and shakes all were absolutely delicious!!! Best burger joint I have tried in all Wyoming so far. Will be back without a doubt!

Truly great homemade burgers at this very distinctive little burger stand. You can also buy shakes and ice cream, and eat at the picnic tables outside -- or take them over to the Town Park across the street. A great place to grab lunch when you're hungry!
Wonderful burger and fries served by friendly staff. The Moose Outpost is a small place with limited seating and available drive through service. Recommend you stop in if you are in Dubois WY.
