We have only gone here for drinks and country night. Always been a good , drama free time. DJ is actually amazing! Good pool tables, (no chalk), and outside area for smokers. Drinks are great and they don't price gouge for "premium". A consistent go to for us from Anchorage.
Great bar, quick staff, friendly security, amazing DJ on the weekends… 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a fun weekend without all the big city drama.

This place is an all in one! Bowling, bar, lounge, pool table, darts, etc! Give it a shot for a friendly gathering!
This is the locals spot, plain and simple. Some night call it a backwoods bar which Could be true, but they have a nice dart set up, bunch of pool tables a dance floor and nice sound system. I'd call it a country bar especially on country night, Thursday. But they also have dudes throwing down rap and electronic (lite) sets. DJs are often but no live music is a draw back. For that I give 4 stars. ALLOW LIVE MUSIC PLEASE. At least on some nights, it would be a nice vibe switch from blaring DJ sets or the nights where nothing is going on except some dudes sitting around pulling tabs or whatever. Let some ppl do open mic, have an acoustic set. It would bring in a good crowd but not a rowdy one. Only thing this place needs.
The place in Eagle River for drinks and dance. No better dancefloor in the greater anchorage area. The DJ knows his stuff! Pool tables available, drinks are well made and the staff is there to serve. Will always go here for the best staff, best environment and best drinks.
It's been a while, but if you're looking for a clean fun atmosphere, Homestead is a pretty good start. While you're there, ask for the bartender Brandy (with a Y). She's fun, smart, and pours great drinks!
Great staff, great drinks, bartenders are very personable and great to talk to. Halle, Kenzie, and Fallon DEF know what they’re doing and can sling an awesome drink. Crowd is awesome, very mild, not too overwhelming, and bouncers that will ensure your safety. They’ve got 2 bars and 4 bartenders so wait is never too long! They do a FREE drop off AND PICK UP shuttle for within Eagle River which is awesome. They staff really love their customers and are passionate about what they do. Awesome options for games with a connected bowling alley, darts, pool, cornhole, beer pong, pulltabs, bingo, and even Cribbage! Good bar food, and an even better time. This bar has only gotten better this year with a kicka$$ staff, even through COVID!!! Highly recommend!
I’m very indoorsy, but I unexpectedly got to teach what little dance moves I know to another patron, and it was such a nice, cozy Monday night that I rang the bell twice. You can feel how different people from Eagle River are compared to the big, dumb city. Should I ever move to Eagle River, I know where I would like to spend my evenings. With the fine staff at the Homestead Lounge and whoever I might happen to meet there.
I have become a regular at the Homestead lounge. On the weekends it is a very comfortable place to go. The staff is friendly and they provide a shuttle to pick you up and or take you home from the BAR for free. Tips are encouraged. Definitely a great place to have a drink and dance.
This place is pretty great! In general all around great bar, can’t say much about the bowling alley cause I don’t bowl. I spend my time on the bar side playing darts which they have an amazing set up as well as pool tables. The DJ Matt in the evenings is amazing and of course he plays requests, he works Sunday through Wednesday nights. If you don’t like a crowd the earlier hours would be best, though you’ll have to play the juke box. Most importantly the reason I frequent this establishment is because of the outstanding service! Hallé is pure talent and a detrimental asset to the establishment! She is super friendly and has an extensive knowledge when it comes to drinks, amazingly hard worker, and just a pure soul to unwind from the week and be around! Give that girl a raise 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
