we order a few times a month from AC Sub Shop on Tilton rd. Very friendly staff, great food and most importantly the food and service is always consistence.

This place is absolutely outstanding. Definitely worth a return visit. It has a nice feel to it. Atmosphere is similar to a place in Columbus I loved.

Let me start by saying that while here in South Jersey you can't swing a cat without hitting a sub shop we chose Atlantic City Sub Shop from those with similar ratings because the owner replies to every review and that tells a lot about how much they care about their business. Now to the food ... we both ordered cheese steak hoagies and they were excellent. The bread was the crusty bread with great chew that the best South Jersey shops use. Plenty of meat and not too much juice running out of the roll. A "half" is about 10inches and plenty for either of us. They have a wide array of hot and cold subs. They all begin at a price well below many other places. Lettuce, tomato, peppers and raw or cooked onions are included. You have lots of other extras you can add but you will pay extra for them. You order at the counter and a waitress brings the food to your table. Our waitress was very very nice! They do take out as well. Now to the reasons I'm only giving a 4star today. First we ordered onion rings but got curly fries ... now the fries were yum but we didn't get to taste the rings. Also, the frowny grumpy cook in the open kitchen didn't make me feel like I was going to enjoy my lunch as much as I did. Be SURE I'm coming back.

I had the most amazing cheese steak from here yesterday. I usually feel disgusting after I eat a cheese steak because of all the grease. Not when I ordered it from AC sub shop. Nice airy but crunchy bread. A smooth non greasy cheeseteak with a bunch of flavor. 10/10
Stopped in with a friend on Friday night. We ordered 2 wraps, fries, and a milkshake. We watched as they made our wraps. Super friendly, fast, clean, and most importantly DELICIOUS!

Huge fan of this local gem! Cheesesteaks and Italian subs are delicious. Chicken cheesesteaks are made with fresh chicken. Husband and wife owned and operated. Quality ingredients and quality people make for a great meal!
Been a customer for over 20 years when Sunny owned it. Great food. I drive from Ocean County a 86 mile round trip just for a AC Sub.
