Had a great day for Jim birthday spent the day then we had dinner at a wonderful restaurant with wonderful food from the sawmill and Elizabeth thank you Dan and Holly it was very good had a really good time and super food
The food is to die for, the pool tables in perfect condition, the layout impeccable, the service on point and very friendly, and the number of games playing on every screen all around the restaurant make it that much easier to keep track of who's winning. All of my expectations were surpassed exponentially! The owners did the city of Elizabeth more than a simple service when they chose the location in their town. I'm honestly jealous there isn't a location in Centennial! Best 12 oz I've ever had in my life (and I'm from Omaha, I know my steaks)!!!!
I stopped here with a friend after a long hike at Castlewood Canyon. The owner, Holly, greeted my friend and me shortly after we were seated. The service was excellent and the food was very good and reasonably priced. Holly told us she likes to have a restaurant and likes to play pool, so she made a restaurant/bar with pool tables. Cool! The only drawback- some patrons did not wear masks, but social distancing was in effect. All in all, I am very happy to recommend this restaurant/bar/pool hall.
I've been to the Sawmill exactly twice. The first time was to meet a friend and I sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and, it turned out, was one of the owners. She didn't seem to know their whiskey offerings, but she found out and served it as ordered, so I can't really complain.
The second time was on Monday evening for "pool night". It's when a local league plays and I, once again, came down to meet some friends who were playing.
The waitress was nice and attentive even though I only ordered water (I was thirsty). I'd looked at the menu for a bite to eat but considering their is a Sonic right next door I couldn't justify $11.00 for a hamburger.
I still have yet to eat there.
Otherwise, the place is in fairly good condition. It's clean and well kept and has plenty of TVs for those of you who watch sports.
Awesome food and this pace is huge and clean inside. You would never guess how big from the outside. Very welcoming to the pool leagues and very friendly staff
