By far the best dining in Eugene! The food is enchanting when it comes to presentation, and delectable when it comes to flavor. We savor every bite, and I’m pretty sure that while we are enjoying with our senses out loud each and every time we take a bite lol.The open concept kitchen and quaint, romantic, yet casual atmosphere is definitely something you’ll always keep in that memory bank of yours when you think of the great places you’ve dined. My only complaint would be the air circulation in the space, or rather lack there of. We were just there for a small, intimate 40th Birthday dinner on a hot 96 degree day, and while the wonderful cocktails eventually won out in the end, it took quite some time before we were all acclimated to the humid heat. Might I suggest Just a few big industrial style fans on the ceiling to at the very least provide some reprieve and circulation to the room? Heat aside, we will continue to over and over again dine at Grit, as well as continue to bring our friends and family, and introduce them to the amazing experience. Keep up the good work chef and the rest of the Grit crew...you’re doing fabulously!

I have been frequenting this restaurant at least once a week for almost 2 years now. The owner, chefs, and staff are all superb with some of the best service I have ever received at any restaurant. The food is out of this world and every attention is paid to the issue of sustainability, pasture raised, organic, and local, using seasonal wildcrafted additions. Grit is my "third place" - a place different than work or home and which research shows to significantly reduce stress hormones. Thank you Grit Kitchen chefs and staff!

Pan seared duck was absolutely amazing. Our server (for the life of me I can't remember her name) was amazing, personable and attentive. Tried a drink called Rosemary's Baby (Halloween + rosemary infused vodka = the great name) was super tasty. 3 of us had one and loved it. Can't believe this was our first time. Will definitely go back.
