Wonderful place to eat. Generous proportions. Sarah and the other waitresses are attentive and friendly. And great prices!
Vintage Cafe in downtown Everett is a great place to eat b-fast, lunch, and dinner. Also a good spot to grab a drink. It's very laid back and comfortable. Plenty of seating. Mostly go before/after a Silvertip's Hockey game(down the block at Xfinity Arena).
My colleagues and I stopped by this place on our way back to Vancouver from a trip in Washington State. It was Happy Hour when we arrived and they had a lot of appetizers available for $5, as well as 3-course meal specials for $9.99. We ordered a poutine and calamari to share, and I had their $9.99 meatloaf meal, which included a choice between soup/salad and ice cream for dessert. While the poutine wasn't great, my meatloaf was alright for the price and portion, and I quite liked their ice cream. The service was not the friendliest, but efficient. All in all, not a bad place to stop by if you're near the area.
Poutine ($5 during Happy Hour):
2/5
I have to acknowledge the irony of us ordering poutine in America when we are just about 1-2 hours away from the Canadian border. This is not "authentic" as in they used mozzarella cheese instead of cheese curds, but I actually didn't mind as I personally don't really like cheese curds. What I didn't like about the poutine was that the fries weren't very crispy at all, but were rather soft and soggy. It was also pretty flavourless and bland, as was the gravy.
Calamari ($5 during Happy Hour):
N/A
I only had one piece, so I can't really rate this. It wasn't bad from what I remember.
Meatloaf ($9.99 during Happy Hour):
3/5
This came with salad/soup, a side of either mashed/country/fried potatoes, glazed carrots, a piece of garlic toast, and a scoop of ice cream (choice between vanilla, salted caramel, and chocolate) for dessert. I picked the soup, which was Mulligatawny and served with crackers. It was pretty good. The meatloaf was a pretty good portion, consisting of 2 modest slices. It was quite tender, but unfortunately underseasoned and bland, even with the gravy. The glazed carrots were alright; tender and quite sweet. The country potatoes (which I picked as my side) were bland and a bit too burnt. The garlic toast was probably my favourite part of the dish: it was perfectly toasted, being crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the interior. The ice cream was also quite good; I got a salted caramel as well as an additional scoop of chocolate, thanks to my colleague who wanted to forgo his, and both were very tasty.
Great meal and great service from Kate while we sate at the bar for dinner. Great reuben sandwich. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience as this is the first time and certainly will not be our last.
Breakfast was super yummy and affordable. I want to go back and try lunch next time.
Great place for lunch! I don't understand the bad reviews. Take your little crumb crunchers to McDonalds happy land!
Good food, great atmosphere! Took my wife and my dad for breakfast on a Monday morning and I was pretty pleased with the service, the food and the price. I will go back there again and definately recomend to friends.
Breakfast all day! I'd eat here again if I was in the area (like I was yesterday) but I don't think I'd make a special trip.
First time here and this place and I cannot wait to go back again. I visited on a Thursday morning when the restaurant was not busy.
I liked the vintage feel and look. The low but subtle modern music added a nice contrast.
I ordered the country fried steak and the portions were not overly large which I enjoyed. The steak itself was soft enough that the fork could cut it.
The waitresses were not pushy and allowed me to choose my food. They knew how to read the room based off of which customers liked to talk and ones that do not (like me). I just wanted to eat.
Great location but I could see parking being an issue on the weekends and/or busier times. At least when it is busy, you could have the option to walk around the Everett area and see other places.
Little hidden gem & family owned. My son & I love coming here. They serve breakfast all day. Adorable vintage place inside. The food is great & the staff are all very nice.
The food here is amazing. The waffle fries are worth the extra charge. I had delicious biscuits and gravy. The sausage with it was some of the best I've had in while. My son loved his bacon. He was really excited to get some special hot chocolate.
It is such a cute little place. We were there at 10 on a Sunday and we didn't have to wait for a table. It was full but it didn't look like people had to wait for tables. The food didn't take to long to come out and the service was lovely.
This is a great place of you want a nice and easy breakfast/brunch/lunch.
One of our favorite Everett restaurants. Came here with family last weekend and the atmosphere was lovely, spacious and had beautiful art on the walls. The food was fantastic. Everything cooked to order and the flavors were wonderful. I don't even have a criticism. The server was lovely and we will definitely be returning.
We went for breakfast on a Sunday. It wasn't too busy and we didn't have to wait. The service was great and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The food was pretty good. It could've been more flavorful. I had a mimosa. It was great!
The staff handled our large party with ease. I had breakfast for dinner, one of my favorite options! Our out of state guests enjoyed the fish and waffle fries. Lots of choices for a delicious meal!!
