Currently eating queso and chips and a shrimp burrito and let me tell you... I'm never eating anywhere else for this type of food. I'm in heaven.
The drinks are refreshing and tasty, and the place is beautiful. The atmosphere is perfect as well.
This place is amazing.
One of the best Mexican meals I've ever eaten! Outstanding Guacamole, Burrito bowl that was an attractive, satisfying and delicious. The tacos were not so large you felt stuffed, but large enough that you were comfortably full. Would go again if I'm ever in Fairport.
Had an enjoyable experience at Lulu the other night with friends. We had a reservation for 8 pm, and despite being directed to arrive on time, we still had to wait a significant amount of time for water to be delivered and subsequently to have our orders taken. I didn't think it was a particularly busy night so I was surprised when no one came to check on us until the end of our meal to bring the check.
The food was delicious though and I can see why the tacos and tequila are held in high regard. I would definitely go back to dine outside on their deck to enjoy the canal.
Wonderful food! Came for a drink, had very good tacos, and was perfect for our party of 8. We did make a reservation so there was no wait. Perfect for a small party or birthday 🥳🎂
The restaurant is located in a fabulous place, right by the canal. The spicy margarita is 10/10, high recommend. Chips and guac is nice and fresh. The main course though, a little sub par. It’s not that good. The menu is very limited with just non traditional mexican cuisine like fried chicken sandwich. 8/10
Enjoyed a lovely summer evening yesterday night with a group of friends at the outdoor patio overlooking the canal. This is a quaint spot that has fresh food, and good drinks. If you are looking for the perfect spot to go on date night, or just an excuse to get out during the week I highly recommend this place. It was my first time, and as a visitor from out of the area I couldn’t have been more impressed with what Fairport had to offer. Everything our group had was excellent, and the service was very good as well. I would happily come back, and look forward to the opportunity.
The food and margaritas were excellent and prices are good. Service is the weak spot. Our server was very nice but we sat for 20 minutes before she came to our table.
We ordered apps, main course & drinks all at once. Appetizer arrived quickly but our drinks didn't show up until the meals. Outdoor seating was full but seemed to have decent server coverage. The interior where we sat was mostly empty so it's hard to understand why we waited so long.
That said, overall dining time for the two of us was a bit more than an hour, and as I noted, my burrito and my wife's tacos were both excellent. If you don't mind a bit of a wait I think you'll enjoy yourself at LULU.
Went there at about 8pm on a Saturday and they said only reservations avaliable. I went to website and was able to book 845. When ordering it took a bit before waitress came over but that was OK. Our waitress was amazing. Food took a bit of time, longer than it should but they brought use extra chips. The food was amazing. There's alot of Mexican places popping up and this stands out, Gordita, the chicken sandwhich, cauliflower taco, it was all amazing. Overall this was a good experience, great atmosphere and I would visit again.
The food and atmosphere was amazing, service was slow and the waiter forgot items many times.
Heard the owner of the former Itacate restaurant was involved and got here asap. Service was pleasant, my Paloma con Mezcal was delicious, and the food was excellent. Will be back. Fairport is lucky to have this place!
Great food, drinks and service. Sat at the bar outside, and our bartender/server was on point. I had enchiladas, which had a rich savory sauce and jam packed with carnitas. Definitely recommend.
A twist and turn through The Box Factory brings you to this great restaurant. The tacos were interesting and all very good, but the fried chicken sandwich is absolutely phenomenal (creative, tasty, and crunchy). Get one, it’s a must.
