Smitty's is awesome! The store is charming, the service is always friendly and the ice cream is delicious. Smitty always has enough staff so you never have to wait long to be served. I like to have some quarts in my freezer to have on hand for company but we always eat them before company arrives!! It's one of my favorite things about summer on Cape Cod!

Great local ice cream. Not many carry grapenut flavor but they do-my favorite. You can buy it by the quart as well. Plenty of places to sit outside. Great family place and several bring their dogs. I can't fault them for price because everyone is pretty much the same but the prices are too high. I can't imagine taking a whole family out for a cone.
Absolutely delicious ice cream and the cutest place to sit outside on the benches under the trees and lighting.
I will say they run out of some flavors by evening time so if you are hellbent on a specific flavor, come early!
Additionally, they are cash only! ATM available on site in case you forget cash.
Great ice cream. On a warm day the grounds are a good place to hang out with a book, and of course, ice cream. The library is conveniently next door.

Excellent lemon and raspberry sorbet flavors! Their vegan chocolate is made with a coconut milk base and is very, very good. If you are looking for dairy-free options definitely try these items!

You can really taste the flavors in their homemade ice cream. The nuts, chocolate chips, and candy inside the ice cream are huge! The outdoor area has a large lush lawn with mature trees providing lots of shade to eat your ice cream under, or you can grab a seat at a picnic table. The staff will let you sample any flavor you like. The only downside is that the ice cream is on the pricier side, but the quality makes it worth it.
This man Smitty knew what he was doing when he purchased this property! Wow... its a beautiful location. Property is large and nicely manicured. Lots of seating with many park benches and picnic tables. We loved sitting beneath the tree strung lighting at night. So pretty! Let's talk about the homemade ice cream... amazingly creamy and many flavors to choose from. Hubby had the butter crunch and he said it delicious,I had chocolate peanut butter and that too was amazing! The 4 kiddos ranging from ages 15-22 all complemented their flavor choices and said it was the creamiest ice cream they ever had. The cost was reasonable as our bill for the 6 of us was $30. The ONLY change I would recommend is to have a staff member out in the yard washing the tables down as every table we attempted to sit at was covered in melted ice cream. Other than that...if we ever return to the Cape,we will add this to our visit list!
