We celebrated our anniversary weekend at the Sea Crest and had dinner at Red's last night. Large portions, delicious food and great service!
The Old Silver Beach Shore Dinner Series at the Sea Crest Beach Hotel provides a real Cape Cod clam bake experience! These dinners take place Tuesdays throughout the summer in the sand on the beach with the beautiful cape sunset as the back drop. In addition to traditional cookout hamburgers and hot dogs, diners can opt into a full clam bake dinner as well
I was invited this past weekend to check out the Sea Crest Beach Resort in Falmouth on the Cape. The weather was cool, windy and gray. I live on the Cape in the summer time, but can I tell you a secret? I love the Cape in the fall more than any summer day! Why? You can get through town in a reasonable amount of time, you can walk into a restaurant without a reservation, you don’t have to worry about traffic and fall walks on the beach can’t be beat!
Beautiful location and really good food. The restaurant is located inside the sea crest resort. It took us a min to figure it out. Our waitress was really sweet and nice but something happened that I'm not sure how to feel about... so after we placed our drink and food order, she told us she's bringing the bread out. She never did, and we kind of forgot about it. Until i saw that the couple that came in a lot after us had the basket of the bread on their table. So i asked the girl once she came around, if we could have some bread. She goes, " i think we ran out... yes, we ran out." After she walked away, we saw another waitress bring bread to another table!!! We just looked at each other like " Well, that's weird."
Besides that, it was a very nice evening, very scenic location and good food.
The times are pretty flexible for closing, so definitely check and see if they are closing early. Food and drinks are great and the ocean view is lovely. There’s a fire pit on the beach right outside.
Nice comfortable inside atmosphere with the option of sitting outside if seats are available. Limited menu with an attentive service providing appetizers.
Red’s Restaurant & Lounge can be difficult to find if you’re not accessing the restaurant from the beach. Although some reviews on here are negative, we had a good lunch experience at Red’s. While the service may not be the best, the food and drinks were good and we enjoyed the view with our lunch. Overall we had a great experience at Red’s and enjoyed their food.
The Good; Lobster roll was incredible! Our kids described the chicken fingers, "the best we've ever had." The poutine was unique and enjoyed by all.
The Bland: I got the $30 pan seared cod. It came out cold. The presentation was pretty basic, and the flavor was nothing special.
The Price: $200 for 2 adults, 3 kids, 2 adult bevs, 1 app.
We went off-season with 3 kids. No refills on drinks. No cookies for kids (even though it's on the menu). Definitely willing to try again, because the staff had to deal with more people in the restaurant than anticipated.

Hesitated at the $10 stuffed quahog, but it was so good I would order again. Wings were ok. Cooked well, sauce iffy. Lots of pizzas flying out of there. Staff very friendly and attentive. Cocktails are corporate. Measured. Draft beer selection needs help.

Wow, this food was fantastic! My family went out to eat here and the food was fantastic. They did a great job at making the drinks, and they tasted fantastic. The food was at a decent cost, and the appetizers were fantastic! The cost with drinks two appetizers and three salads and one large pizza was about 130 bucks. The wait for the food was about fifteen minutes, but with the appetizers coming so soon it ties you over. The view is beautiful, and is right by the ocean. You're indoors, but it's great. This is one of the greatest restaurants I've eaten at, and I think that it would satisfy the whole family.
