Each year, I visit Falmouth during my vacation, and I never miss an opportunity to stop by the Black Dog. This delightful establishment consistently impresses me with its freshly prepared, delicious cuisine and amiable staff. Their lobster rolls are exceptional, always fresh, and one of the most delicious I've ever had. I was impressed by the delightful cranberry and orange muffins on the new menu.
I look forward to seeing what else they have in store next year. I extend my warmest wishes to the Black Dog and hope they continue enjoying the success and prosperity they so richly deserve. Until next year!
Decent place to grab a bite before taking the island queen ferry.
However, it’s a little on the expensive side in terms or taste or portion size, we tried avocado toast which had pesto on it - pesto over powers any taste and it’s the last thing you need on an avasadi toast, couldn’t taste a thing !
Tried the build your egg bowl - decent and lots of option to customize, but it wasn’t worth $10+.
Folks were nice and place was charming .
Had a great lunch on Labor Day. Chicken caesar wrap with fries and coleslaw. Reasonably priced. Sat outside. Everyone that worked there was super friendly.

Grace at the bar makes a delicious " Shenandoah Sizzle " besides serves the Black Dog Capt.Douglas's signature cocktail in a can"Dark n'Stormy"..tasty sandwich jam packed with the best local foods,Quahogs ,especially .Burgers are outstanding..simple good fare! Pleasant staff..ask for Kate,Falmouth native,manager extraordinaire! Happy in kitchen..Sophia will serve you,too!Round #2, two months later..Codfish tasty sandwich, lightly fried with the side order of the BEST Cole slaw.Classic burger cooked medium tp perfection Homemade real deal Cole slaw!! Dog treats made here,too!
Great spot with lots of parking and outdoor seating, lattes were ok, food was good though they messed up our order (got totally wrong ingredients)

Oats were good, coffee was good, burrito was good. Service was eh. Lovely outdoor seating.
Food is consistently great, very flavorful. High quality ingredients. We have come back here again and again, after trying other places and wonder why we go elsewhere. And the pistachio muffin is a must try.
It was an aesthetic cafe with seating both inside and outside. We loved spending some time there in the morning
From out of town and decided to stop by for lunch when visiting the area. I ordered The Woofer and it was amazing! Great atmosphere and options for indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff were super friendly! Happy and Chef G, in particular, helped make my experience great. I will certainly be going back next time I’m in town, highly recommend!
