My second visit and not the last one, thanks to Shane Hudson! The menu is rich, besides multiple choices of thin crust pizzas with incredible toppings, implemented with culinary twists like beet brushetta with goat cheese and kale- absolutely delicious! Great place to work , I am sure! Very laid back atmosphere for wait staff! Miscommunication about the happy hour pricing was an easy fix, Shane personally handled it! We will be happy to come back again on any Sunday!
This place has always hit the spot when needed! I’ve been at both dinner and brunch and the food been exceptional every time. Shane, Conrad and the staff were polite, courteous and attentive to all of our needs.
To be fair I'm not a huge fan of Italian food, I generally don't do pasta dishes. Was out with some friends so I went along for dinner. I liked the atmosphere, layout was good. We shared a table with some people in an open seating area so we didn't have to wait for a regular table. I like that, good way to meet be people! Ok, now for the food. Appetizers were great, we ordered a few. Great calamari. I was really really amazed by the porcini mushroom pasta with chicken that I had. This is now my favorite pasta. Great texture, great flavors, definitely recommend. There were a few other interesting choices that if I went back if like to try, but I'm sticking with this dish next time. Everyone also loved the pizza they ordered.
Very nice place. Had Prosciutto Pizza and side if Meatballs both excellently made.
We ordered the Eggplant parmigiana for dinner and calamari appetizer. It was delicious! The calamari was served with a spicy sauce and the eggplant with pasta. There was alot of food! We will definitely do carry out here again.
We started with the breaded mozzarella, the breaded cheese was good but the lemon sauce took away from the fried cheese. Chicken Parmesan was excellent, the chicken was large and cooked properly. Pasta was odd though it was a thick hollow spaghetti that was firm even when cooked. They have an excellent wine list ranging from $6 glasses to $100 glasses. Atmosphere was nice with an older remodeled building.
Excellent meal with fantastic service in a cool atmosphere. Try the 'Sauced Up" cocktail- its to die for! We ordered gemelli pasta and prosciutto pizza and both were just perfect. Also, be sure to visit around Christmas time to check out their huge collection of vintage roto- molded Christmas decorations! Can't recommend Pop's enough!
If your looking to get out and eat while feeling safe...look no further. I had an excellent time at Pops Italian. Food was phenomenal, service was great and they practice superb social distancing. Please support this great restaurant in ferndale. You wont regret it.
The bartender was amazing and staff was incredibly friendly. But I cannot get past the immaculately clean bathroom. As someone in the food business, I was impressed. Cute place, nice staff, good food, and clean!!!
