I have a very busy toddler, and we have entered the stage of our family where we can only eat in quick restaurants. Enter Red Olive Ferndale. The menu is huge (something for everyone), the service is wonderful, and everyone is always really kind and accommodating and patient with our little one. I'm one of those moms who is always cleaning up the food that my kid drops, and they often beat me to it and encourage me to enjoy my own meal. Tony, one of the owners, is always particularly friendly and makes sure that we are taken care of. Great place to go, especially with a little one.

Went here with family recently and it was great. Laid back, good food, good service, that's a win in my book. And, I probably shouldn't say it, but the dark haired server with the glasses is beautiful. Probably go back soon ☺️
My favorite Red Olive location! The manager is awesome. The staff is helpful and friendly. The food is always top notch and the perfect proportions. I always feel welcome and at home here. That's partly Ferndale vibes too.
Food was good. The waitress was polite however, she mixed up the order and the checks. We had a party of 12 with a total of 7 checks. She had to change the checks like 4 times.
This is an elevated version of the great American diner. The decor is modern clean and beautiful. The food is great – – I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger and fries and everything was hot and delicious, made with fresh ingredients. I enjoyed the free refills of lemonade that my waiter kept bringing; it is the appropriate beverage for today, as it is 96° outside as I write this! The central air in this place was nice and cold. If you stop in like I did on a Saturday between 4-5 pm it’s not busy at all after the breakfast rush but before dinner. They specialize in breakfast items, Greek and Mediterranean dishes, and of course burgers, soups, salads and American classics. The service was great, the parking is always free, and as usual I found everything here to be excellent.
